Dude. I can claim I misundertand people to twist their words any time I like.
I obviously misunderstood Obama when he said I could keep my insurance and doctor under his plan. I also misunderstood him when he said medical costs would actually go down under his plan.
I thought he said what I am repeating, but I obviously misunderstood him, because those things didn't happen.

Too many of the TWS nation thought it was a hoax because of that comment, and it didn’t help that the implication of using the word hoax matched his DGAS rhetoric.

You are so dense. If Trump had been calling politicizing the virus a hoax he would be saying that there was no politicizing. Trump was clearly saying that the threat of the virus was a hoax.

Obviously large conventions won’t be back soon, but as far as being a “ghost town” for a “good while,” is incorrect...unless you simply mean no open casinos for a couple weeks. City will be opening Casinos by end of May, which will bring hundreds of thousands of people to Vegas. That’s not a “ghost town” and certainly a few weeks off is not “a good while.”
I assume based on you thinking we won’t be playing football this year, a “good while” in your standards is 2021.

You’re welcome to go look at the daily market numbers. You’ll see that in mid November 2014 the market was around 17,400, and then on November 7th, 2016, the day before the election, the market was around 17,900.
And if you put $100 in the S&P on November 7th 2014, and pulled it out on November 7th 2016, you’d actually only have $98.
Point to point, precisely 24 months, the last 24 months of Obama’s presidency leading up to the day Trump was elected, the market was not only stagnant, but the volatility put you down around 2%.
This is indisputable fact.
Also, Obama’s economy was propped up on trillions in QE, stimulus, and inflation being held artificially low, all while the wealthiest people and corporations got more wealthy than any time in history, at the same time the middle class shrunk, and more people went below the poverty line and went on food stamps than ever before.
These are absolute irrefutable facts. So good luck vomiting bullshite trying to go deny it or dismiss it as false. You’re lying if you do.

Trump has on six occasions (and counting) "jokingly" referenced the notion of "President for life." That and his tendency to literally NEVER take responsibility for any negative event and never admit to faults all add up to it being difficult to imagine him conceding an election. This is Trump's personality, not Obama's.
Would Trump actually try to carry out such a plan? Probably not once the military decided to uphold the Constitution and he was at risk of being escorted out. But he sure as hell would explore whether there was some kind of emergency powers act he could invoke.
