Got mad and went to bed with 3 minutes left in the 3rd last night. Was awaken by fireworks and gunshots as the neighbors brought in the New Year. Checked my phone and I see a text from my OSU friend that simply said "Congrats". Checked the news and imagine my surprise. Then couldn't go back to sleep for 3 hours.

Thanks for the confession. You are now relegated to go to sleep for all future games we are losing. My brother does the same lol.

No shame. I gave up on our team too. Luckily I pulled into a bar with 6 minutes left in the game.

Was watching it all the way into the start of the 4th quarter with my family. I went back to my bedroom after that and watched alone until we scored that last touchdown. Ran back out to the family and partied until 1 am. I do think if I hadn’t have left the original room, we would have lost the game. You’re welcome

I have a confession too. I got a new Georgia shirt for the seccg and retired my old bad luck shirt. Wore the shirt at the game and we won so I said what the hell maybe the “wearing a Georgia shirt makes us play like shite” curse is broken. So I wore the shirt all day yesterday and through the first half. When we went down 38-24 I took the shirt off and the dawgs rallied.

I was planning on packing it in if the scored a TD on the series Harrison got knocked into next week. I stuck around and wouldn’t move from the same seat even though I had to piss like a racehorse.

My kids(all grown) were over with friends that aren't CFB fans. They were wanting to watch a movie but I had the game on. After Bennett's INT and Ohio State went up 21-7, I said ok, go ahead and watch your movie. I checked the score once, it was 38-24, and was really bummed. Then as we were about to shoot off the fireworks I saw we were up 1 with :54 left, about a minute later my BIL called and told me what had happened. After everyone left I stayed up to about 3:30 am.

Wife and I got in bed after the 3 and out and then TD by OSU to start the 3rd. We were watching just with less clothes on. She was starting to fall out in the beginning of the 4th. After UGA scored and left OSU :54 to go. She said it 20 times” too much time, UGA’s gonna lose, TACKLE HIM”. She almost got a knuckle sandwich for a late night snack!

That game was nuts!

I'll post my funny story here too. Im in the living room, wife was walking around the house, cleaning kitchen and organizing. Not a huge football fan.

It's right before Ohio state kicks the FG to try and win it. I'm freaking out, on my knees, heart about to explode.

She walks in smiling, holds her hand up for a high five...I'm confused, what's up? She says, they missed the kick.

What? They haven't even got back in the field from Kirby's timeout on the living room TV.

Turns out the TV I was watching got paused some how and was waaay behind. She saw the kick on the bedroom TV. Made the kick in the living room less climatic but in a good way.

I’m superstitious. I decided I was jinxing the Dawgs by watching late in the third, and walked away from the tv. I then checked it on my phone every few minutes. When it was 28-24, I decided that the jinx was over and I went back in to watch it.

When the Dawgs scored to go up 42-41 with 55 seconds left, I told my wife that 55 seconds was all the time in the world. OSU would kick a field goal for the win. I knew they would but didn’t think they’d miss it.

And finally, what was the name of my dear family dog for my entire childhood? My pride and joy German Sherpherd??? RUGGLES.

I'm still in dis-belief as to how we ended up winning. OSU bossed us around for a good part of the game, and in a blink of an eye, we were ahead and the game was over.
This is how Bama fans must have felt on the Tua go-ahead TD.

Young baws on here will never appreciate the long term trama associated with being a UGA fan (and glad they don’t have to).

Yeah, we all know how it feels to lose that way all too well.

i cannot possibly understand how some of you are big enough fans to be active posters on a message board and then stop watching any games at all, let alone a playoff game

makes less than zero sense to me

Sometimes it’s mental health preservation or staying married. It happens.

I'm a little disappointed in Terrance Edwards. He admitted on a postgame show he left the stadium when they were down 14.
