USC shouldn't be matching us score for score, honestly. I mean, they haven't been able to stop us and our O looks like we all expected it to going into the season. The problem is, USC looks even more prolific than Clemson when they are on offense.

We should have run more clock before we scored our last TD. There was still 25 seconds left on the clock before we ran it in. Sorry, that's BAD clock management by the coaches.

I can't blame it on freshmen. Last year we had a senior defense and they still sucked. Only common thread is the coach

Our offense has given out defense so much rest, yet we're getting burnt and ran over every drive. Makes zero sense.

With regards to that...Langley just got here in July so we don't know that he hasn't been coached to keep it in front of him...he may very well be coached to keep the play in front of him but just hasn't had the reps/experience yet to do everything right. I believe he will be a good one but I really do believe we would be better off with Dawson out there just because hes been working there for a year longer.

True...we put a bunch of guys off the defense into the NFL...so the explanation last year could not have been talent level.
I'm just not getting it. Maybe Grantham's approach is too NFL and too complicated for these guys???

It makes perfect sense to me. Our defensive scheme isn't cutting it. We have NFL-caliber players but we can't tackle effectively and are getting burned too often the deep passes.

So far Bobo has done a good job. He's not our problem. Our problem is on the other side. We have given up two leads so far. If we had a good DC, like, Kirby, Bud Foster, or Chavis, we would be handing them their asses right now. Blow out city.

Langley has got to turn his hips and run with his man. Its basic corner play. He has been coached on that shite since Pop Warner.
