Spike squad called for it. Means nothing, but I fully expect this to pick up steam as gameday was just formally announced for Athens.

I would actually be in favor of the blackout for ND.
It’s a first having them here and it’s an early season night game. We’re not trying to use fake juice....it’s just a big deal for an OOC game.

I'd like to see Kirby call for a red-out but then wear black jerseys, so we can advertise that Georgia red but get the wow factor from the black jerseys

That is my take as well.
Years from now seeing a Terry Godwin like highlight against ND, I want it in our uniform. It is our brand. Promote it.

I think the black needs to be worn annually, Kirby obviously values it and the recruits take pictures with it all the time.
It just doesn't need to be the week of a big home game and
we think we need extra juice when we do it (The Richt method). What bothers me is the need for fans to say "Oh this is a big home game, we need to blackout". It's gotten to the point where a portion of our fans think it will give us an edge or they are so against it because they think it's voodoo. It's so nauseating and both viewpoints suck.
Just wear it for an annual, pre-determined home game in November and swallow the pill.

Fans should wear black. Team comes out in red. Back from halftime, team comes out in black. Recruits & fans love that shite. Players prolly like it too. If it adds to the fun, do it.
