Firing Smart this year would be foolish. After the 2025 season it will be the consensus. It will be after 2023 amongst fans but it’ll take 2 more years.

Since you can see into the future why didn’t you warn us four years ago that 2020 would be a down year for us?

Obviously there was no body of evidence 4 years ago. There is now. Smart is the best coach UGA ever had. He ain’t on the hot seat now and his job is safe. Within 3 years the majority of UGA fans will have arrived at the conclusion that Smart ain’t going to get it done. He will make 2 years after that and will retire.

Y’all act like we have some sort of requirement to win natty’s to make the season worth while. You are wrong. We want to win games. It’s fun when we win games. Y'all take beating Tech, Auburn and UT for granted. That’s how I know you are a new money fan. I’d love for us to win a Natty. Yet, beating our rivals is a lot of fun.

No, we will win one less tasks a season on average than we have the last 4. Again, I would love to be wrong, but’s rare for a coach or any employee of hired in an entry level position Tomakesiggnificant improvement after year five. Considering we’ve played the worst UF teams in recent history the last 4 years it’s hard to imagine us winning that game more than 50% of the time.

Exactly. Coupled with one in explicable loss a year which we have had eve th year under Smart that’s 10 wins in the regular season when we lose to UF. Thus we will win 9-10 a year just as we have thus far.
Y the way we haven’t had the inexplicable loss yet this season. It could be out there, although given the WB situation wins are harder to explain than losses
