Thoughts? Wish list, realistic, or otherwise?

My first thought is Will Friend, but I don't know what experience he has as a play caller. I really don't want to lose him along with Bobo.

I've got a feeling Richt will handle it for a while.

Very well may be the case. I could see him hiring a young QB coach, grooming him, hiring a proven OL coach and taking over play calling for the last few years of his tenure. I think this is the last coordinator hire he makes as HC at UGA.
ETA: I'm assuming Friend is gone.

Richt will take it over for awhile..we got to see what coaches CMB takes with him..if any

If we offered him the OC position no way would he choose CSU over us. I wouldn't mind McClendon either. I just don't know what either of their play calling experience is. Maybe a guy like Lincoln Riley or someone could be a good QB coach/OC, but Richt calls the plays.
My ideal hire is Scott Frost, but he isn't coming here. Also, I think Bobo leaving may actually help us get a new OC because coaches realize that it could springboard them for a head coaching job.

I would be totally okay with BMac being promoted to OC. It was help retain some recruiting stability. It's important to stop the bleeding.

Any chance David Greene would take the job? He's about the only guy that I think we'd actually approach that I could feel excited about.
Of course...I have no idea if he even wants a coaching gig.

I'm pretty sure he just took the HC job at Tulsa so he's out. Tyson Helton from WKU and Lincoln Riley from ECU are the two names I'd look out for. Helton has experience as a Special Teams coach as well so maybe we could knock out two birds.

Scott Frost? The triple option qb who now runs Oregon's O? Talk about a square peg.
