I hope you are wrong also.

Against a big wingspan 6’ 3” WR a jump ball might be ok. On that Arian Smith TD he was a good 10 feet behind the DB and the ball floated making it almost a 50/50 ball when it never should have been.

They are…doesn’t seem to have helped them in any other games this year though.

If he doesn’t, then he might really have a mental thing going on, and that just is what it is. Hate it for everyone.
But if we fall behind, and Kirby puts him in and we play better, then that’s frickin insanity

I know we’re going to smoke this team and probably win by 40 in the end, but if this were Bama or OSU we’d have given up probably 2 turnovers already and getting trounced.

Yeah but if Bennet throws it any further it’s OB. Smith is just stupid fast.

Use our D Line in run plays. Lol.

Javon Bullard playing more and more.

Thinking ball grip is an issue today. It's chili and dry so gripping the ball is a challenge today. Could be contributing to some underthrown balls.

Just saw Rochester in the game

I think the fair thing to do would be to let both QBs play a half and see who does better to determine the starter for next week
You think Kirby might do something like this during the week at...practice? Watch everybody and evaluate where they are? When JT is healthy, he will play. Sounded like in the pregame, today is very likely a lot of kids would play, including JT. It wasn't that long ago everybody wanted Carson Beck to come in and relieve JT to get reps.

What I was trying to suggest is less hang time would have been good. Not throw further but throw with a bit more velocity.

As if Bennett is gonna be like “oh I should just throw it harder”. That’s his velocity lol

That’s not true. Last year he underthrew a ton of jump balls. There was a lot of discussion about his inaccuracy with long passes because of his mechanics.
This year he looked better in the games he’s played.
