I mean, I usually just say blah blah blah Richt Haters...blah blah.
But this seems different. I don't know, but it feels like with a bad showing in the next few games, this might actually be the end of the Richt Era at at UGA.
This is coming from a guy who has stood by Richt more than most. I just see a program losing itself and descending into chaos. That kind of flailing only occurs when there is problems at the top.

I'm right there with you. I've always given CMR the benefit of the doubt with injuries, players getting kicked off the team for being thugs, or whatever, but at some point he's got to right the ship or walk the plank. I still love the guy and wish he could pull it together, but right now I think his ship has sailed.

Oh I know, and that move wouldn't shock me.

I think most know I'm the same & usually say nothing at all after another stupid loss but this might be it...
I'm ready for change if it comes, if TPTB give CMR another year I'll continue to support the team & players as I always have...
I was a Dawg 100% before CMR & I'll be a Dawg 100% after, I just wanna see the program reach it's potential. lotta shite has changed since '05 & I honestly don't know if the game has passed CMR by or his priorities no longer mesh up with the "new" mega buck/cut throat era that CFB has moved into...

I agree Dallas. Because Richt has been here so long, the swift changing landscape has caused our program to fall behind.
Pruitt really was a nice shot of adrenaline for this program with the new facilities/coaching/attitude towards recruiting, but at this point its feeling more like a bandaid then a cure.

for what it's worth, the Pruitt quote about losing 7-3 spoke volumes to me

What I do not get are the people defending him. At the amount this staff is paid, there are no excuses.

We haven't scored a TD in 135 minutes & only 4 in our last 4 games. What kinda positive article should they have written?

To hear him tell it, play calling is overrated
As are fundamentals, special teams, clock management, strategic recruiting, etc., etc., etc.

Well, if a ship capsizes far enough, it rights itself, right?

Richt could end all of this and just say that we were lousy and it was his fault and, if he intends to stay, say that going forward this shite was going to stop and we were going to be competitive against good football teams. Instead he just doesn't come across as caring....it is all fine and well to be cool, calm and collected but being dead is creepy...and Mark Richt seems like a dead man walking....
I get it that there are more important things in life than CFB...unless of course you are paid several million $ a year to coach what could be an elite program...and then, for your working day at least, there should be nothing more important than the task at hand and that is winning fricking football games. If you can manage to do that first then moulding young men or knitting them booties is fine....but win first....that is your fricking job.

Well, if the guy doesn't even know the name of our top recruit, then I can't accept anything he says.
