It’s the second biggest money making sport at virtually every university and in some case the only money maker. I love college baseball but until May, college basketball owns February and March and spring football owns April.

Lets be honest, if it wasnt for Strickland, you would be a lot more excited for baseball season.
I know Im more excited, and even though we sucked last year, having Watch ESPN on the Firestick allowed me to watch at least 20 games on tv, and I enjoyed it.
I think we can make the 64 this year. Do we have a thread yet?

Here's my thing. I have been pretty vocal about my unhappiness with fox and I don't believe he is really all that great of a coach and I think we can do better. With that said, and I know this isn't popular, with the 2 guys we have on board in the '19 class I'm inclined to keep him. Similar to kirby and football, we have never really recruited at that high a level before in one class and undoing that could be bad news, and despite fox's faults it would almost be hard for even him to frick up that kinda class.
Yes I've seen the comparisons to washington and yadda yadda. Whatever. If you'd have asked me 3 weeks ago I'd say I would fire him today if I could. But we're in a pretty unfamiliar position as ti relates to UGA basketball with those guys committed.
If we want to pretend that those guys hadn't committed, then yes I would want him gone yesterday. He is an atrocious in game coach and his sub patterns are borderline retarded. He's not very relatable and stubborn as a mule. UGA basketball can be so much more than what we are under fox, but I've posted at length on that in the past so no need to rehash.

Mark Fox is the Mark Richt of basketball. Even if we do keep him and get thes 2 5 stars in, we wont win like we need too. UGA baseball hasn't been the same since we lost in the CWS to Fresno State. I have no clue why we didn't fire Strickland last year. We need to move on from Fox and Strickland. With the excitement around UGA football, now is the time to make moves in the other major sports.
