We are not bombing Iran because they killed 30000 of their own citizens.

We are bombing Iran because they are the leading source of terrorism throughout the middle east and the world.

When a leftist complains that we accidently killed 150 children, and we respond that Iran intentionally killed 30000 Renee Goode's over the course of 2 days, the reasons for our bombing did not change.

You faux outrage is as naked as your TDS, though.

They aren't the leading source of terrorism but let's just say that's true. How is al-queda doing today? Is Hamas eliminated from Gaza? Israel has basically destroyed every square inch and Hamas exists. When has anyone ever fully eliminated extremists through warfare?

How many times do you boomers have to watch the same movie before you understand the ending?

A guy with the highest security clearance just resigned yesterday and stated Iran posed no imminent threat and that Israel is why we started this war. And I'm sure you will regurgitate the bait from the MSM you watch like a good little sheep and say this guy, that is an American hero, is an anti-semite or compromised.

He is also a democrat, and a conspiracy theorist. He was shielded from and not involved with any intelligence on Iran because he is a known leaker. Should have been fired months ago.

Ideally he would've never passed vetting to be in the position in the first place.

Lol thanks for proving the point. Which conspiracy did fox news tell you he's a believer in?

Why did Tulsi and Vance tell him to reconsider if he's a leaker.

The Hodge Twins have shown their asses in the wake of the beginning of the airstrike/naval campaign against Iran. They're no better than the folks in their photo.

There's a wide gap between neocon zionists and the squad. It's not black and white my friend. MAGA is dead, Trump will be a lame duck president in impeachment hearings

You need to research what you want to be going forward. Turn off fox news and do your own research

I think he was tuckers leaker that is going to get him arrested for passing classified info. I honestly think they let a little info slip to him knowing he was passing info to Tucker and Tucker to Iran through Qatar.

He was a set up, but a legitimate one. I hate government leakers.

He blamed Israel for killing his first wife when it was reported that she was killed by ISIS in Syria. Gabbard was told to fire him for trying to undermine the president but she didn’t bc she also opposes the war in Iran, she was also shut out of a lot of the information as well. Kent is married to someone who works for an anti Israel publication(the grayzone) so of course he thinks we shouldn’t be in Iran. Do yourself a favor and get off tik tok and Twitter

Your argument is that extremists exist so should we shouldn't take the fight to them?

Just clarify your position.

Congrats on having "a guy".
Is he claiming that the US is doing anything illegal?
If we are, I want the truth.
It comes off to me that he is "a guy" with an opinion that is different than the political party in power.
And he is fully capable of having that opinion.
Believe it or not. Trump listens to differing opinions all day.
That was the entire point of his celebrity TV show. That has been echoed by members of his staff and congressional members across the aisle.

These are opinions.
I want to know yours.
What does "imminent" mean? And does it really matter?
If it does matter, when does the line change from "not imminent" to "imminent"?

Im open to a rational discussion if you are.

Your position is we should intervene anywhere there is an extremist group and you want to go back to Afghanistan because al-queda is in power?

Clarify your position

Is he claiming anything about legality?

Does trump listen to all opinions or just those that tell him he's a good president? Does Thomas Massie have better ideas than Lindsay Graham?

Is judging a person based on reality tv a good idea?

Is asking questions instead of responding with your own opinions an effective way to communicate?

We can slow this down if you don't want to be an asshat.

Iran has a 49 year history with multiple hostages.
Iran funds and supports al qaida. Hamas. Hezbollah. Palestinian Islamic Jihad. Houthis.
Enriches to near weapons grade plutonium.
Developed a ballistic missile program.
Killed tens of thousands of American troops in Iraq.
Killed troops in Afghanistan.
Killed 30,000 Renee Goodes and Alex Perettis over a two day span.
About 5M Iranians have fled the country and this regime since 1978.
Been the aggressor of the strait of hormuth in 2007-2008, 2011-2012, & 2018-2019.
I argue that Iran is the aggressor in the strait now because Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, and UAE are not permitted to sell their oil.
Iran threatens Saudi Arabia, UAE, Israel, and USA daily.

I don't classify above as any extremist group. They are significantly more than that.
The nuclear and ballistic issue is amplified because of the entire spectrum of who their government is.
That is the reason for the bombing from the US.

Let me know what parts of the above you disagree with.

Please answer the question, "how do define imminent? What would have to change with Iran for it to not be imminent and then classified as an imminent threat"

That's pretty high - there were only about 4,800 soldiers killed in Iraq, but Iran/Iranian backed groups did account for hundreds of those. If you add in wounded, then the numbers get closer, but still below tens of thousands.

Not arguing that the Revolutionary Government isn't a bad actor, just that the number is high.

Now do China. And North Korea. And Russia.

Where does it stop?

Iran was pretty well controlled through the sanctions. Of course the Hourhis and similar groups cause issues every now and then. Nothing major and comes with the territory when you want to have how ever many bases we have in the area and when Israel is our ally.

Their nuclear capability was destroyed, per every report from this administration, last year. They offered to accept a nuclear deal that was more restrictive than the Obama deal before this war started.

What exactly about the situation 3 weeks ago, not last century, makes you think this war was in the best interest of the United States and it's citizens?

Because gas is now 4$ a gallon. Inflation is up and will continue to rise. Government spending will balloon. And there is no off ramp.

Trump thought it was going to be Venezuela again and somehow did not realize they would shut the strait down..now you have Israel blowing up targets that escalate the war and killing the few remaining officials that MAY be open to negotiating. The off ramps are getting fewer and fewer and if it continues eventually something will happen to move us up the escalation ladder into a full blown catastrophe

Iraq militias are shooting our planes and bombing the embassy...which is shocking because we already liberated them...neocon logic says they should like us now

You do realize that Iraq is split between Sunni and Shiite, right? The Shiites side with Iran, but were happy when Saddam was ousted and ISIS was broken. The Iraqi Sunnis hate Iran.
