Kirby’s demeanor on the sideline

Tonight was a good win and I fully support Kirby. But for years we bashed Richt for the sideline demeanor. But Mirby’s tonight was kinda embarrassing. Jumping up and down like a little kid. Maybe it’s just me but I think it’s kinda tacky. Act like you’ve been there before. Because you have.
Also, that he has to have someone from keeping him from getting a penalty for going on the field. He’s the only coach I’ve ever seen where he requires someone full time to pull him from going on the field al game and that’s just weird

We won the east again and are goin to Atlanta to play LSU.

All the shite you could be melting over and THIS is what you picked? That’s a strange hill to die on.
And many teams have a “coach wrangler”. That’s not new.
Personally, I’m glad to see a guy on the sidelines who is CLEARLY passionate about beating his opponents, particularly his rivals. Kirby is invested and I can guarantee you that every kid on that sideline LOVES him for it.

No shite. I’ll take the issues with have with coaching in exchange for a guy who is as invested in UGA as we are..or more.

Good lord! How many years did Richt “stoically” watch GA get crushed in big games. I’ll take Kirby’s demeanor all day, every day.

frick that. He gets excited when his defense makes a play. Why is that a problem?

We beat auburn on the road and clinched the east....and this is your concern? Did it trigger you when Kirby said how bout them fricking dawgs?

Have you been there before??

Anyone gone back to the FU game and watched CKS on the sideline during Cager’s touchdown play? That’s my coach. Anyone that doesn’t fricking like that can go swim in piss with the OP of this thread. Just damn.

I know most teams have a wrangler but I’ve never seen a wrangler have to be so prominent.
I mean, this probably bothered me more than anything else in the game.
Seriously? It doesn’t bother y’all? In today’s society, where the expectation is to be judged from the moment you walk to the moment you sleep, you don’t it find it odd that a prominent public figure doesn’t try and act a little more disciplined on the sideline.

frick the judgemental bitches, they are not perfect in life.
Being yourself is more important than shitbags judging you.
It is call self confidence.

He is the coach and the leader. I do think he lets his emotions run at times and it looks silly when we’re acting like he’s acting like won the Super Bowl for beating a team we should have beat. I guess that’s just me.

Man, I hope you're trolling. Otherwise you're coming off like a bitch.

Many coaches have this. You're just being lazy. Go to bed.

quote:I’d prefer that he treats each game like a huge challenge with all of his focus. And if a UGA coach gets excited about beating Auburn and Florida then be glad we aren’t watching Goff and Donnan and others losing to them. I don’t know about you but I’m happy any time we beat them. I’ll nitpick over how we beat UK and Mizzou etc but UF and AU are the kind of games I’m happy to win.
