Faulker appears to be another big pass-first air raid guy who took obscure teams to top-15 nationally ranked offenses. He made Arkansas State the #10 offense in the country somehow.
Looks like Kirby is really embracing this shift to a “pass to open the run” offense.
I suspect Monken may have recommended Faulkner, too. Sounds like he’s going to be Monken’s right-hand man.

Continuity plan. IF Monken bolts after a year, we may already have our replacement.
ETA: he’s a Parkview grad and former player, so I assume strong Georgia ties and a desire to move up inside the UGA program. That’s good.

I’d say more of a look forward, long term. Seems this guy must really like UGA to leave an OC job for an analyst position. It screams of future opportunity and a consideration that if Monken is half as successful as Brady, that he’s probably gone soon. Would think Buster can learn from Monken (already has a base in a similar offense and, as someone else already said, he may have been a Monken recommendation) and carry things forward when the time comes.
