When is the last time we went a whole season with no home noon games? I'd bet "never".

That's the whole point, genius.
The vibe I get is Kirby held his nose and accepted his boss's request to bring back the black jerseys. Which is why they wore them against Louisiana Shreveport last year or whoever. And why it was downplayed as much as possible.
So, yes, I think he'd rather not deal with any distractions.

back in the day (when I was a kid - 70's & 80's), every game started at 1 pm eastern

I just hope these 3:30 slots pull the crew we had against USCe and not Gary "Suck Off the Gators and Bama" Danielson...frick that guy.

This has been a phenomenal year tv scheduling wise. Those night games in September were great.

technically, we werent the anchor CBS game this past Saturday...Bama - LSU was. Thats why we got those crappy announcers.
