Kind of glad Kentucky starts on offense this half.

Agreed! It should not be this painful to pull for a program with these resources.

Coley is a turd. What young innovative coaches are out there to replace this clown? This team is action packed with talent and can’t sniff what Bama, LSU or Clemson are doing right now. It’s a damn shame.

We win this game by 2 scores

There is nothing to base this on. I am expecting a loss at this point.

I don't know if we win or lose, but you're right there's nothing to suggest we score twice. We haven't even reached their side of the field.

Talent, depth, the possibility of a defensive score, some of the runs we were springing at the end of the half . Plenty of reasons to opine that we win

I don't know if we win or lose, but all of that has led us to a 0-0 game at halftime. We haven't even reached their side of the 50.

Yes, I'm sure you're a football savant.
I'm not but I have eyes and a decent understanding of the game of football. That's all I need to see your takes are ignorant and short-sighted.

quote:

I also couldn't give a rat's a$$ what he does in the NFL, which won't be much. If he's a first round pick at all, it's because the NFL overvalues QBs.
His ability to read coverages and make throws to the right targets in his progression tree will be extremely valuable in the NFL where he'll have the coaching/schemes and receivers to take advantage of.

quote:

He had Swift over the middle to win the game last week and never looked at him, instead throwing to a covered receiver. So much for going through those progressions.
I didn't do my video yet for last week's game so I didn't watch that play again to speak to it. I'll take your word for it and say that Fromm missed on that play and that he made a bad decision. That doesn't happen often so thanks for pointing to an outlier to prove your point. Genius strategy on your part.

quote:

You'll have to point me to where I blamed the entire thing on him.
You ended this very post with "Fromm is the reason we lost last week". It's this sort of garbage analysis that I'm talking about. Your football knowledge is extremely suspect based on your tunnel vision for Fromm.

quote:

The offensive line is overrated and the receivers are young and inexperienced, and have a lot to learn. Coley is the biggest problem as he's downright incompetent. It's not just his play calling. This speaks volumes about his incompetence during the week.
I agree with you completely on this, and yet you still dare to blame Fromm and say he's regressed while being able to type these words.

I said you're ignorant before but I take that back. You're deliberately lying about Fromm. That can be the only explanation for how you can at the same time call out the ineptness we have in Fromm's surrounding cast and blame Fromm for the results on the field.

quote:

Fromm is the reason we lost last week with the turnovers and the pick 6.
Ah, there's that genius take I was talking about.

We lost because our team couldn't execute. Fromm contributed to that but he wasn't the reason we lost by any stretch. Our play calling (much like this week and much of the season) was uninspired and our players couldn't do their jobs all around. Our receivers especially were unable to do their jobs in running their routes and catching the balls that were thrown to them.

You sure do like to pin an entire football game on a single player but Fromm is only as good as his supporting cast, and his supporting cast did not come to play last week.

This might be on Coley but it is definitely on Kirby. Kirby wants to run this ball control chicken shite offense where a pretty good quarterback can be 6/7 for 2 yards. This is crap. We can't even run effectively because our passing game is not a threat to make completions downfield. Kirby needs to hire the best OC we can afford and get out of the fricking way.
