On E clayton st. Saw the tail end of it and from what I've been told it was Natrez Patrick and a coach came to pick up his car. TIFWIW but something to pay attention to.

It's just a big misunderstanding.

Confirmed. Arrested for possession which is his second arrest for weed. So 4 games, which means out for Florida.
Why can’t we have nice things?

Smoke weed all you want but for fricks sake do it in the offseason and don't carry it around with you downtown

What the actual frick? Do kids at Alabama get suspended for getting arrested for weed, for the second time? Maybe CKS goes easy on him and just slays him at practice?

Once it goes to the police, Kirby can't do anything. It's UGA policy.

Second offense and in the middle of an undefeated season, Kirby can't go easy if he wanted to.
Out for Vandy, Mizzou, Florida, and South Carolina minimum

With Carter out for who knows how long with that concussion, this kid really screwed us over but being a damn idiot.

Does he know how stupid and selfish this is? I'm with the whole legalization deal but it isn't yet so be fricking mature. Undefeated season. Awesome defense. Reggie Carter gets hurt. "I think I'll just have weed on me for fricking funsies"

Time to change the fricking laws. No reason to punish this kid. And btw, Atlanta just decriminalized cannabis, so we are starting to get the state to move in the right direction.
Plus there is plenty of initial evidence that shows how well cannabis is for protecting the brain after trauma like concussions. Cannabis has been shown to help promote neurogenesis. Plus we already know about how great cannabis is for the body and stress.
Time we quit punishing our players for trying to self medicated to protect themselves from the violent sport that is football. Hopefully Kirby gets shite changed like they do it at Bama, as there is no reason to suspend someone for just using pot. PERIOD!
For those who want him suspended, maybe next time he can just go to the DR and get some oxy's for his pain, and maybe some xanax too for his stress. Not to mention he can drink all the alcohol he wants, and none of these things will get you suspended. What a joke our school policy is in regard to drugs. Look at T Thompson, if he could have used cannabis from the get go, I doubt he would have gotten in that incident over the summer, which was from opiate pill use (lets thank his doctors for that).
EDIT: I see you guys would rather the player not use cannabis and rather he just deal with the brain trauma that comes with the sport. I'm glad to see my fellow UGA fans would rather see a player say frick his health, just so he won't get suspended and can make the university even more millions of dollars. frick Natrez for trying to use a medicine, selfish as motherfrick. /s

Are you really sitting here trying to say all these guys want weed for is pain relief? I'm all for legalization but give me a break.
