Plus there is plenty of initial evidence that shows how well cannabis is for protecting the brain after trauma like concussions. Cannabis has been shown to help promote neurogenesis. Plus we already know about how great cannabis is for the body and stress.

Time we quit punishing our players for trying to self medicated to protect themselves from the violent sport that is football. Hopefully Kirby gets shite changed like they do it at Bama, as there is no reason to suspend someone for just using pot. PERIOD!

For those who want him suspended, maybe next time he can just go to the DR and get some oxy's for his pain, and maybe some xanax too for his stress. Look at T Thompson, if he could have used cannabis from the get go, I doubt he would have gotten in that incident over the summer, which was from opiate pill use (lets thank his doctors for that).

EDIT: I see you guys would rather the player not use cannabis and rather he just deal with the brain trauma that comes with the sport.
