Agreed. Letting ego get in front of a championship would really piss me off.

JT is better than Stetson but the disparity isn’t vast enough on the practice field. And I’m not just hearing that from a source. Multiple folks have said they both look good or they both did OK.

Funny, I actually posted a thread about this same idea this morning. Feels good reading this from an "insider" for my own ego, doesn't feel so good knowing that it could very well cost my Dawgs a championship.

that might explain why Kirby hasn't talked to Jt in 6 weeks (according to SoFl)

This sounds like housewives of Atlanta type bullshite

If that is the case then what in the everloving shite was the reason that JTD was the clear and unquestioned starter entering the season?

Because all of the above in this thread is based on "friend of a friend" rumors and conjecture. There is also the "story" that Daniels really wanted to play and asked to play - including last weekend - but Kirby said "no" - which would contradict the notion that Daniels is avoiding playing. The other item that sounds nonsensical is the idea that, "Daniels has looked better in practice than Bennett but just being a little better isn't good enough - he has to look unbelievably better to get back in."

I don't claim to know the truth about what transpired but it's going to be funny after the season to see how many of these rumors and "inside scoops" were bullshite.

Why can’t we just go out and legit get a stud QB and be done with a QB debate we’ve had for years?

We have one in Vandagriff but he's a true freshman.
We have another on the way in Stockton but he'll be a true freshman next year.

We won't know if either is "the real deal" for another two years.

I would like to hope that since both are taller versions of Stet with stronger arms that we get to at least see what Vandagriff can do next year since he will have been around for 18 months. I'm sure Stockton will have a learning curve.

I assume we will have a good idea about the QB situation next year a week after the playoffs. Like Stetson. One would assume if we win the NC he will move on. So if we don't win will he take it on himself to try to come back and prove he can win it? Does JT wait to see what Stetson does before he transfers or has he already decided that? Maybe Brock is ok with a redshirt and the possibility of sitting 2 years.

we've done that, from early in kirby's tenure, to present day, and in the future.

becuase we don't have an offensive-minded coach as a HC. Plain and simple.
