Both.

What makes you say that? What does Newman do/have better than Daniels?
Posted on 7/13/20 at 5:52 pm to Porter Osborne Jr
Better build. More mobile. Insanely accurate arm 20+ yards downfield.

Have you watched much of Newman’s film? I haven’t seen much but highlights and they look good.

Wouldn't they just get an extra year since no season happened

Not sure I'd call those highlights

I just hope Newman gets the start so we don't have to listen to djsdawg, HTDawg, and NCDawg bitch the entire season.

If JTD can hit wide open WRs for TD's, you wouldnt see bitching about him playing

All TBD. Who really knows? Some could just choose to take what tape they have and head to the NFL. Weighing out that or taking a chance on another season after you haven't played a meaningful snap in over a year?

Can you blame anybody for wanting the best players to play for their team?
My speculation: Daniels is the one with an uphill climb this season. Newman benefits from a short offseason, a skillset that fits the system better, more time learning the offense, and having only one year of eligibility left. Plus if he's benched it'll look enough like Georgia's screwed him over for that to become a narrative.
If Daniels gets the start you know he beat out Newman, and we'll surely see it on the field. There won't be room for argument.

I mean even if there is a season anything won will have an * to it and this is season is basically a glorified exhibition season.
YUP. And we are going to win the GD national championship* this year if there is a season. And they’ll never stop with the 1980 BS.

Tired of the constant stupidity by some as it pertains to qb play. I want the qb that gives us the best chance to win to play. I hope Jamie wins the Heisman and a NC, but wish the same for JT.
Jake beat Notre Dame, won the Rose Bowl and got us to the brink in a NCG. He also beat the hell out of our rivals. We should simply be thankful for him as he did his part.

He did his part, and was a solid player. He didn't win those games, though; the team did. Almost every game he was asked to carry the load and win for Georgia we lost. And even if he had won them, he wasn't the better player in any capacity and should have still seen the bench first chance we got - if only to see if the more talented kid could make the team better.
I'm convinced many of us even with this much hindsight are still too close to the trees to see the forrest on this subject.

Right or wrong, it's the QBs team. Always been that way.

Agreed. Fromm was a DGD, but I can't think of a single time other than the Rose Bowl where he was asked to put the team on his back and pull out a win. Murray did that half a dozen times and missed out on a NC appearance by 5 yards, through no fault of his own.

But it’s wrong, so don’t use it.

That was all Chubb(2 TDs and Michel (4 total TDs). Fromm just didn't durp it up. Fromm never had a Murray type game.

What load of garbage. He smoked UF every year and he was also outstanding vs AU in the SECCG along with his performance
vs Baylor in the Sugar Bowl.
And NOBODY had come close to beating Bama before we played em '18.There wasn't a better performance by an opposing QB vs Bama up til that SECCG.

Did Fromm complete those games?
