If we win, I will be the first person to post back here to say I was wrong... happily

Just messing with you. This is the most important UGA regular season game in many years. Step on their throat or let them think they are back in the Spurrier era. It's our choice, not theirs.

NP.
No question. The Win will take us to the SECC and be huge for the team and Kirby after lackluster performances in the last 2 weeks.

Team. Singular.

This is not guaranteed. After us, Florida has Vandy and Missouri (coming off UGA). We have Missouri (coming off a bye), TAMU, and Auburn (coming off a bye). We're just now entering the hard part of our SEC schedule; Florida's is mostly done.

Also true, but we would have to drop 2 of those if we win vs. FU.

I've been rewatching earlier games to see if our fans are over-reacting to the last couple of weekends. My general impression is that, when you consider the opponent, we haven't been dominant in a single game. Even the defense, which has good stats, looks vulnerable to any decent offense we might face. Any or all of these last four SEC games may be a struggle.

The set-up for this game is perfect. Last two weeks, home loss & boos. Add to that UF’s sudden arrogance.
Angry, disrespected Dawgs gonna show
they own WLOCP.

Not against UT or Vandy?

We haven't given up a single rushing TD
all season and we've given up 3 TD's in 4 SEC games.

A lot of gutless wonders in this thread. If you’re fricking scared, just say it. (Not directed towards OP)

It's just my impression after rewatching games that the defense hasn't played as well as the stats suggest. Part of the reason I say that is we've played some poor SEC offenses. The 4 remaining SEC offenses on our schedule are all statistically better than the ones we've faced so far.
It's not a lot of data for conclusions but watching their games, UT, USC, VU and UK do look like relatively weak offensive teams. UT and SC used true freshmen qb's, UK used a converted WR and VU used a grad transfer from Ball State in his first SEC start. The opponent talent level starts going up next weekend. Florida's qb is vulnerable due to inexperience but their WR's are very good.
Total offense SEC rank
UM 4th

UF 7th
TAMU 8th
SC 9th

Over the last 30 years, we've been - at best - leasing the Cocktail Party.

It will be a very contested game. If it comes down to game coaching, we're fricked. If the game plan is somehow correct, and Florida doesn't disrupt much, we could be OK.

While this is true and may be what we need - but are the "fans" (notice quotation marks) going to put up with this style or start booing like they always do because they know better? Hell, look at this board itself - if we run, we are damned.

Fromm and the offense aren't bad. They just aren't at a level where the talent would suggest they should be.
That having been said, UGA is still better than UF on offense and on defense. This team responds well to doubters and I fully expect a dialed in squad making plays on both side of the ball.
If you're betting this week, take UGA laying the points.

I ain't scared. We'll take them in a close game. Our defense and running game will make the difference. UF has very little depth on defense. We can and will wear them out in the second half.
