Not sure why he kept trying to run between the tackles every 1st down when it was apparent Auburn was committed to stopping it. He's called worse games, so I'll let it pass. Pretty sure Gunner played concussed. Defense lost that game, but it was readily apparent they didn't have the legs they had last week and weren't nearly as fast or crisp.

You never completely abandon the run when you run the offense we do. I’m more aggravated at the OL getting bullied inside than I am at the playcalling.

And I don’t think the defense is THE reason we lost.

Defense got us behind

Offense kept us behind

Have to keep the threat of the run to build play action.

This, this wasn’t on Bobo at all.

I don't think you have to abandon the run, but when they are committed to stopping the inside run, and are being successful, why not some sweeps, end arounds, etc. to stretch them laterally? There's more ways to run the ball than between the tackles.

The need to committ to stop the inside run is the eye candy for a lot of play action. Freezes the lbers and safeties.

I am going to trash him. We had the chance to step on their testicles and he went conservative.

If you don’t get whipped up front, there’s nothing conservative about it.

I would argue we ran our normal offense, the run game just was not there and Gunner had brain damage. If you know how to playcall your way around that, I have 32 NFL teams that would love you to take over as head coach.

You were fricking up 14-0 and then fricking played conservative until it was do or die time it’s his fricking fault as much as Schumanns being a shitty defensive coordinator and as much as gunner and Gabe Harris cost us that game

Eh bobo has called good games the majority of the season thus far.

Does make me LoL that people think he’s a top 10 OC though. Must be why he has all those job offers from other universities.

What's the OC supposed to do when the OL is getting whipped and the QB seems to be in a different time zone?

So now we’re on the “never run the quarterback” train?

This thread is devolving fast.

The Gunner run to start the game cost us. Why do that?
