Our Defense is great with the running game but sucks with the passing game. Bama's receivers were wide open tonight with no decent coverage. Our QB sucks. I've always said that defensive coordinators suck as HC and Kirby has proven that. How many years has he had to beat Bama? Go Dawgs but dammit it's time to run Kirby off.

I'm starting to wonder if this is his ceiling. But when we got whipped by Auburn we came back and destroyed them the 2nd time. If we are fortunate enough to play them again I'm interested to see what happens. But something has to change. There has so be an issue behind closed doors with the QBs. Stat has done well but no reason to not give another qb a try if when your guy is struggling so much.

We beat Bama tonight with a top tier QB. That’s what we’re missing. I shudder to think that Bennett > Daniels.

We had our clear and away starting QB quit a few weeks before the first game. We knew this would be a shite show. We still hold our own cards, I just think we should give daniels or Mathis a few snaps to see. Bennett won’t be able to keep our defense off the field long enough to not fatigue

I don’t really think this is the case.
It’s tough to throw daniels into that hell fire at the end. Bennett has won every game up till tonight and it’s clear he isn’t elite, which we knew. I think we should try and let daniels get some time in there if he’s healthy.

No one is better and we will never win it all with Smart if he does not realize you gotta have a QB. Defense used to matter. If you watch CFB today you realize the only reason there is a d on the field is because it be unseemly not to just throw a 75 yard pass for a td on every play.....like ole miss and Bama did last week....defense only roll in CFB today is to keep up the appearance of it actually being a game when in facts merely a scrimmage where the offense is meant to score on every play. For no more impact than defense has in CFB today they ought only have 4-5 players on d.
