Normally engine wash would have torn a path all the way to the impact site, flying that low with engines that powerful leaves a mark.

Wow. Thanks for the links to wikipedia. While adding nothing to the conversation.
Meanwhile, I was trying to have a conversation with CharlestonDawg if you don't mind. Thanks.

Cracker,
How would you feel if you lived in Egypt......and the U.S. spent billions of dollars propping up an unelected leader in your country for years, but then, when he stopped towing their line, they started assisting another party/leader to overthrow that regime..............and then they demand democratic elections........but then after a fair and square democractic election, the U.S. overthrows this democratically-elected leader.......all the while people are being murdered on both sides............and you basically have no real say in how your own country is run. It is under the thumb of a foreign power. The United States.
Do you think that this might spark any resentment for you if you were Egyptian? Also, as an american, how do you feel about getting up and going to work everyday to help pay the bill for all of this type of endless insanity? Which fuels all the hatred over-seas which comes back to bite us in the arse like on 9/11?

You aren't a real American with statements like that! We are the land of the FREE! I suggest you get with the program and enhance your music list to include: Alan Jackson "Where were you", Toby Keith "Courtesy of the Red, White, and Blue", Lee Greenwood "God Bless the USA", Brooks and Dunn "Only in America". You'll thank me later.

Guys, let's try and be civil. I can't stand name calling in arguments it takes away any amount of respect for each other.
I hear you but I don't think it makes sense. Why would the Egyptian military stage a coup that would result in them losing their military funding? And I'll go on record saying right now I believe some people aren't ready for democracy. Sometimes a benevolent dictatorship is best until the people want to control their own lives without having democratic corruption and bureaucracy make it worse.
Radical Islam is run by a group of savages and they should, for the betterment of the world (because they bring no good into it), be wiped off the Earth.

How does a fire get lucky and "melt" these beams at these angles? Whats the scientific proof that these beams weren't cut? The 1st pic is super obvious, look at how perfect that angle is, no fire can do that.
Look at the beam real close, you can see around the edges that there is melted metal, we call slag. When you cut something w/ an acetylene torch or plasma cutter, whatever, it leaves the melted metal hanging on, called slag. There is slag found all around the cut beam. Fire would not cause this, unless the whole thing melted down, which didnt happen. It is obvious that someone did that, it didnt happen from the planes.
***And to think that our govt wouldn't do this is retarded. Our govt already did some similar shite to Iran in 1953 to overthrow their democratically elected officials. They bought out the media and police, and like I said, overthrew the elected officials. If the Iran people fight back against the us, they are terrorist, even though we came over there and fricked shite up to fit our views.
LINK
-----Also do you guys know how our media, Tv, newspapers, magazines, books, etc, are controlled by just a few conglomerates? 6 major conglomerates (new word for monopoly) control most of what the American people see and read. These conglomerates have major investments in the US military and oil. So why would these businesses worry about the usa citizens, when they can make more profits from world control? The only reason why we are in the middle east is b/c of oil!!! There are worse places in the world (africa, etc) that we could send our troops to play policeman than the middle east, but they aren't in our interests b/c they dont have oil.
**Look at what happened w/ our govt post 9/11. Eminent domain, govt can take your property for the good of the nation (sounds like communism to me), the patriot act, trying to remove/reduce our gun rights. How is this shite making america better, or suppose to protect us against terrorists?
We also have bases in over 140 countries worldwide....why? If china built a base here in Hawaii, would you pissed? I know I would, even be willing to fight against it. Now imagine how other countries feel, when we come in and build a big arse military base, and trying to tell their citizens what to do. Its a fricked up situation that America shouldn't be apart in. We are not the world police, if you want us to be the world police, then frick, lets just god damn take over the world. Then we can quit saying we going to liberate the enslaved people, when all we really wanted in the 1st place is world domination.

Do you think america has no part into why they are radicals? We have been in the middle east building military bases, giving weapons to different 'terrorists' groups, only to turn on them years later. We are part of the cause. There is no need for us to be there. Imagine China came over hear and built military bases. Say china even gave money to some gangs over here to help over throw our democratic govt. Would you not fight back against china and their hired thugs? We are causing people to be radicals by our policies. Doyou not atleast acknowledge that?

For those of you who thinks "our" government wouldn't lie to take us to war, you should do a little reading about a little thing called the Gulf of Tonkin Incident. Reason for War Sec. of Defense McNamara later admitted the second attack never happened. But yet, that was used as the impetus for our involvement in Vietnam. Poor judgement or straight up lies?

There's a difference. They are radical because their religion (according to them) tells them that the world's people should turn to Islam (their version of it) and if someone isn't Muslim then they are the enemy.
The US is only one of their enemies. Any other religion is an enemy. All Jews are their enemy. Shia and Suuni fight each other and they're both factions of Islam. Saudi Arabia is their enemy.
The US didn't invent their religion thereby making them hate us for whatever reason. The US backs Israel and they despise that. Do you have any idea what life is like in Europe with all those Muslim communities? They kill moderate Muslims, as a matter of fact they don't even consider them to be Muslim. Their intent is to take over the world through their religion and violence is their primary weapon. The US just happens to fit into the category of everything they hate,
And they were doing this long before the US was even a country. It's only with the proliferation of technology that they've decided to radically expand.
In closing, the US isn't evil. There is a lot we do that is good in the world. We have serious problems with our world view and I think George Washington was right in his closing address that we should be more internalists and not dabble too much in the affairs of others. Our govt needs to change, we agree on that. But we aren't evil.

I think the reason it doesn't make sense to you, is that you don't fully understand the extent of the U.S. control over that country. I also don't think you fully understand, why the U.S. is so interested in this country's politics.
Also, please remember that this conversation started from your admission that you couldn't think of a single country in which the U.S. had overthrown a democracy in the last 50 years. Egypt is only the first one being discussed.........

First of all I also agree there are a lot of unanswered questions about 9/11 and do think there are cover ups.
That being said, too many people are applying a laypersons opinion to these events and what we're discussing requires specific knowledge of aeronautics, structural engineering, etc. to be valid.
For instance, regarding the pentagon, I agree that the evidence doesn't make sense to me....but I have no real understanding of the physics behind an object that heavy, moving that fast and then crashing into a building. Also, I love the "fuel doesn't burn hot enough to melt steel" case....really? They were melting rocks with wood fires in Scotland a couple of thousand years ago. Wood can't burn hot enough to melt rock right?
Also, I'd contend that flying a large plane...once its up and moving...wouldn't be too much different than a small plane. I'm no pilot...but I have flown left seat a few times with one. But...a commercial pilot may know more and have a different, more valid, opinion.
A layperson doesn't understand why you can't see stars in the moon landing pics....but then NASA has a simple explanation. Some of this stuff is just bilk that we misinterpret because we don't know any better.
To me the more interesting part is how these guys were given a free pass to move about and how the govt helped other foreigners exit post 9/11.
The whole thing stinks....

Ok, so now, what happened in Iran in the 1950s. Who were the characters involved and why?

UPDATE:
Despite the fact that Homeland Security considers the Super Bowl a Level 1 National Security event, and despite the pat-downs and the screening and busing, and despite the snipers and helicopters and all of the troops and cops in riot gear with automatic weapons and bomb-sniffing dogs................despite all of that...........the schlub who crashed the post-game interview with a 9/11 truther message made it onto a bus, into the game, and into the interview room afterwards without even having a ticket to the game.
LINK...............
Now, how funny is that?
