I can't speak much to the color difference; I don't have an eye for that kind of stuff, but I do like the block numbers so much more than the current number font.

Also, I am not a fan of the black outline on the number. Some people will say that no outline makes jerseys look like practice jerseys, but I think a jersey can look polished while also have a direct red on white connection on the numbers.

Agreed 1000% on the Font. The font change in 2013 was a mistake and I really wish we would go back.
