Even the mobile ones have had a hard time but at least they can make our guys miss when it looks like we’re about to get a sack(very frustrating). I don’t see Mac Jones having a good day vs Georgia.

I have come to the conclusion that those rocket blitzes that keep missing are designed to miss , and instead panic the qb into making a bad throw. There's no other explanation.

We do seem to be whiffing a lot. Adam Anderson just looks fast. He gets his angles down and he has at least 2 more sacks at this point.

Just hope we can avoid the big plays against Bama.

Azeez missed at least 1 maybe 2 sacks. I dont think Jones slips out of those next week

We need to shut down the running game and keep pressure on Jones because Bama’s receivers are the best in the nation that I’ve seen. If we let Jones get comfortable, even for a couple of plays, it could mean a TD. They’re that scary.

I think we can do it, but it will take the best this defense has.

Bama O-line is a lot better in games than the Vols vaunted o-line. It’s going to be a war in the trenches with our d-line vs their o-line for 4 quarters.

We have very talented guys running 6-8 deep, we will need to get after Mac early to hopefully Give him happy feet. Then bring the heat the second half when their o-line has tired some. Second half D is going to be the difference, we just don’t need to be in a hole going into halftime and make Mac beat us by controlling Najee early.

Mac Jones moves really well in the pocket. A tall QB doesn't necessarily need to scramble to avoid the rush. I still think that the Dawgs force Jones into some big mistakes.

I wish it were that simple. Of all the things our D goes great, the missed tackles on the blitzes are absolutely maddening.
