Obviously, Jake still has some games left to play and will end up with way more attempts...but - how?

Yep, to keep in perspective, last season Jake's RTG = 171.2 with 206/306 = 67.3% and 2749 yards, 30 TD's and 6 INT's.

not ideal. silver lining...we know Jake has it in him...need a good game at Tech and then hope Coley continues his momentum in play calling against LSU

I mean at the very least we would get to see Bobo and Kirby fist fight on Rutherford because Kirby refuses to relinquish total play calling control

Our top receiver was freshman Terry Godwin. Second top target was sophomore TE Jeb Blazevich. We had a young group of receivers and our running game suffered from Chubb being injured.

I’m at the point that I’m not even sure I can blame only Colely. Fromm was so bad yesterday I just can’t grasp what scheme could even do

Fromm hasn’t been great this year but Coley gets to own some of that, as does Kirby. 11 games in, offense shouldn’t be this much of a dysfunctional mess

No I agree. Coley’s offense has been a train wreck. We can hear all day youth at WR, bad weather, and other excuses but they have all failed so much. My point is that out yesterday in a vacuum and I can’t even blame Coley on the same level as Fromm. Now, outside that vacuum Coley’s olaycalling, Kirby’s conservative nature, and Coley’s lack of development with Fromm probably is what led to this.

It’s just I see Herrien streaking to the end zone or Zeus wide open and Fromm panics and throws the football into the seats. Idk if Kirby locked him in the basement after USC and made him write “I will not throw picks” all weekend but Christ almighty he’s horrible now. Major yips.

This was probably alcohol-fueled rage but I started to wonder how much less effective a Stetson-led offense would be.

It almost seems like Kirby is afraid to let Stetson throw a few passes because he doesn't want to risk having a quarterback controversy.

Don’t know about Stetson but that was the case with Fields.

C'mon.Fromm has been bad but not Lambert bad and about 30% of Lambert's stats can be attributed to the SC game:24/25 300+ 3TD's

Up until this season Fromm has proved himself the last 2 years and Lambert only proved himself in 1 game.

Maybe so. But Fields hurt himself with a bad attitude, and he didn't really know the offense very well. Plus Fromm was playing a lot better last year. But this season there have been times where we had a good lead and he won't even let Stetson throw one pass.

How many of the "fire Coley" crowd were on the "Fire Chaney" train last year?

Neither was I. I was on the "Let Chaney Call The Offense" train. Same for Coley. I still think Kirby is holding our offense back.
