On news that more people are involved in attacks. If you are attending game be careful. Not trying to scare but terristist are looking for large crowds.

I obviously have no knowledge at all about what's happening in New Orleans, but if the big goal was some sort of mass casualty event in New Orleans, why fire what amounted to a warning shot at 3:45 am? If anything, it seems like the city/game will be less crowded and probably safer now than it would've been if the Bourbon street thing had never happened.

Everyone I’ve talked to has gone out around town. Said the feeling is very ominous. Tons of FBI around.

Probably the safest NO has been in a long time tonight.

Agree. I hate that 15 people were killed but it could have been worse. Hopefully it won't get worse.

Im walking around Canal and there's obviously heavy police presence. People don't seem scared though, people hanging out partying as normal from what I can see

Supposedly there were barricades on Bourbon St pretty late into the night that would have prevented someone from driving a truck down the road.

The N. O. police chief said they took down the barricades and plan to replace them for the Super Bowl in February. Instead of barricades they parked a police car in the street but that allowed the terrorist to drive around it and get on the sidewalk. How stupid are these people?

I read somewhere that even when the barricades were up, they could be driven around by going on the sidewalks.
