I never understood what it took to get it done in college football and how far away we were from this kind of consistency. 15 draft picks, defenses where almost every player gets drafted.

Winning the Rose, Sugar, Orange, and appearing in 2 ncg and winning one of them.

I think he was born to lead the Dawgs to the promised land and see much success in his future.

Making your own luck and focus on every detail, managing the roster to the max, shows.

The craziest part about these 15 players getting drafted is that last year we had 9 get drafted, and 7 drafted the year before that, so on and so on.

But other fanbases think we’re going to fly off a cliff like LSU did after their title/draft success.

It’s gotta be a scary time for all those “Georgia is a perennial underachiever and wastes the most talent” people. Their worst nightmare is here and Kirby has fully awoken the machine.

Wait until we get 4 more taken in next year's first round. The melt on this website will be apocalyptic.

Kirby is a stonecold sausage grinder. Go in as a raw bluechip or non bluechip with some promise, comeout the other side with millions from the nfl.

Cant help but think how much Deion cost the kid that was the top prospect by swaying him away from a first round factory that gets its unfairshare of top coverage and prime exposure.

I eat my crow and shamefully bow my head about my comments in regards to Kirby during the coaching search. However, I immediately saw the difference and heard elite qualities come out his mouth on his 1st SEC Media days. Ever since then, changes occurred and we got better and better. He’s building (not built yet) a monster and the mf’ers that keep running their cocksuckers are gonna be looking really stupid. It’s gonna be a fun ride.

3 years from now there will still be tards on the rant screaming that Kirby ain’t shite and Georgia got lucky, while the classes we snag from our 2021 successes will be piloting us to multiple SEC titles and CFP appearances.

Saban is the GOAT, but Father Time comes for all of us. No one is set up better for the inevitable vacuum left behind than us.

Saban will still get his while he’s active, I believe he only hangs it up once his results begin to slip, but we’re about to see more Titan level clashes between UGA and Alabama.

The Alabama fans who accuse us of copying Saban are simply afraid of what’s on the horizon.

They know Saban’s age, and then they look to the East and see someone executing the Saban-Way at an elite level, but that someone is only in his 40’s…

It’s nice to recognize a golden era while we’re in it/beginning

Kirby is top three as a HC right now, it's between him and Dabo for second behind Saban

He is top two as far as recruiting with Saban

And he is top two in player development with Saban

Once Saban retires (maybe before) Kirby will be the best head coach in college football for 20+ years if he chooses to stay that long.

Great to be Georgia Bulldog!!!!

Not for that one downvoter on my post. I guess Trump was right yet again, some of us have already gotten sick of all the winning Kirby is doing.

Possibly being the last team to win in the modern era. I am appreciative to have closed on those wounds of losses past in the absolute best way.

Some new teams will enter the mix imo as the desire to win can now further be fueled with cash and programs can build faster.

More like baseball when Marlins win it all.

Coaching turnover is also going to increase.

We will see the 5* spread around more.

The battle between NIL/schools cut/State laws may take a bit to play out.

Ever since Kirby was hired, I felt more optimistic for UGA football. It didn't have the dreaded mediocre stink that Mark Richt's program had. He has recruited lights-off and finally landed us the big one.

dabo is a clown and is in no way the 2nd best coach in america.

-he's been a HC for 14 years including his interim season in 08, all of which are in the absolutely abysmal ACC with zero actual challengers year in year out
-it wasn't until his 5th year that he finished ranked in the top 10, or had a season with fewer than 4 losses
-It wasn't until his 8th year that he finished in the top 5
-His 9th year he finally won a title.
-People will shout that "he's won 2 national titles!" which is true, and you can't take taht away from him, but the guy has had the remarkable fortune of having the 2 best QBs in the history of the school back to back (almost) which won those titles. Deshaun or Lawrence would probably the best QB in school history at 100 other schools and they got both in almost succession. And when you combine the fact that they play zero competiion in-season, they pretty much have a 2-game schedule. Not nearly as hard to win when that's what's facing you.
-in his 14 years at clemson he has 6 seasons with 3 or more losses
-when they first started getting natioally recognized as a power when deshaun got there, they still had some head scratching WTF losses to vastly inferior teams. A 5-loss pittsburgh in 2016, a 4-8 Syracuse in a year they still made the playoffs, NC state this year. In the last 5 years kirby only has 1 such loss to a crappy SC in 2019

Kirby has been a head coach for far less time in an infinitely tougher league.

Get what you're saying and don't disagree completely but that dismantling of that '18 Bama team was one of the most impressive game plans I've seen against Saban and Bama...partial credit to Kirby for showing him how to slow down Tua & Co in the SECCG

1) You're right, it was a nearly perfect game by clemson
2) As mentioend when you only have to really get up once or twice in a year you can devote more prep which can lead to stuff like that
3) I said it 4 years ago and stand by it now that that was the most "un bama-like" game they have played since 2007. It was a comedy of errors that saban teams simply don't do, much less like 10 of them in a game. Off the top of my head they had a DB slip and fall when him and the WR were the only 2 guys on that side of the field, leading to a childishly easy TD. Tua massively overthrew a ball that he completes 99/100 times in the regular season that led to an interception. Bama called a laughably bad fake FG taht had zero chance of working, I believe they actually ran the FG kicker directly into the LOS. I mean sure they will fumble or throw a pick now and then which is normal football but they played that game like it was their first time playing as a team all season. Very strange game for them. To go along with clemson really playing great .
