Red pants should have never gone away to begin with.

The way the bars on the sleeves of the white jersey have been brought back just screams Auburn to me and I can't unsee it. Also the patch (and for that matter, a whole new uni) commemorating 40 years since the natty is cringe worthy - about as much as the new spiked collar on the black jersey.
I know the croots love alternate jerseys on official visits, but are these things actually going to see the field?

I wonder if because this has been since a strange year, we say frick it and wear the black jerseys for all home games and the red pants for the away games, for just this season.

I just heard that these had been in the works for months, and for the UVA game we were going to warm up in normal gear, then come out in the white and red. Like AU 2007

The aways are amazing...minus the reminder that it's been 40 years since we won anything. Could've lived without that.
The spiked collar and the secondary logo are downright awful on the black jerseys.
Will our red jerseys look like that too? Hopefully the black jerseys are a one-game thing since they went and fricked them all up.

I like the white and red ones. Is Kirby gona let the team wear them? I know how much he has been against the “fake juice” black jersey.

So apparently the black jersey is the 100 year mascot anniversary jersey. The mascot logo has a 100 on the collar instead of the G. Makes me wonder if since the other’s the homage to 1980 and the 40 years if these are just a 1 and done for this season.

I’m aware of that, but since they are celebrating an anniversary season for both jerseys it wouldn’t be the alternate moving forward either (speaking more to the black one’s).

The shoulder patch celebrating the 1980 NC is beyond bush league. That does not need to be there. This league is full of teams that have won NCs since 1980, at least five I can think of.

Geez,are you THAT concerned about the trolls on message boards? WGAS about when and who won other NC's?
It's a great way to honor a special team while most of these guys are still
around.
