Played the whole game and is a little gimpy on right knee to show for it.

Since you're up to date on all the codes and regulations, could you help sort out this Vox/K9 deal.
So, VoxDawg messed up the instructions, which by rule, makes him somebody's gimp. No big deal. Pretty straight forward.
Where it gets hairy is that Vox owns a gimp.
So, can a gimp still own a gimp, or does he lose his gimp when becoming a gimp?
If he loses his gimp, then K9 just became the first ever gimp to earn his emancipation by winning a week. But if he keeps his gimp, then K9 will drop to 20 points this week and Vox will just put him on the block to take his place.
See?
So, I guess what it comes down to is …..can a gimp own a gimp? And if so, should a gimp's gimp have to go to the block instead of his owner gimp who was the only one in the field to not follow the instructions which made him a gimp?.

First, I believe Vox should be up for auctioning to be a gimp if he is not eliminated by the execution team

That is my interpretation
However, Gimps only last through next weekend's games.....SOOOOO, might be the week to kill off all gimps you can right now ;) and probably pointless to buy a gimp at this point...which begs the question, what if a gimp-to-be is not bought at auction....

There's clearly no precedent for this, to be sure, so it's a fool's errand to pretend that we're anywhere be uncharted waters.
I didn't follow the instructions, sure, but I still contend that the buffet theme would allow for an all you can eat approach , as indicated by my inclusion of Mr. Creosote.
It was never explicitly stated that the buffet was all we allow you to eat, and again, Mr Creosote is indicative of my inadvertent approach.
As for calculating my score, the question exists on which 10 games are used. Although the penalty points were outlined, This week's instructions were not specific in stating that picking more than 10 games would result in the first 10 listed, or any other alternative means. To he honest, we don't know what my score is, other than the fact that without the penalty points, is likely be somewhere in the center of the pack. I call that reasonable doubt.
I messed up this week, and I own up to it, but the fact remains that K9 headed into this week in servitude, so he is due the -2 to his score. That much has been settled long ago. Unfortunately, hat prevents his being among the victors.
It's entirely within my right as owner to offer up K9 for elimination in my place, should I be chosen, but while it was his own picks that landed him in Gimphood in the first place, I don't think that would be fair, so I propose this:
Because of his admirable performance this week, I offer K9's emancipation effective immediately, relinquishing my owner privileges a week early in exchange for full immunity from elimination this week, by any party.

I should add, K9, I'd rather have you as an ally than property. By rights, I suppose I could've offered to substitute you for Squatch last week, but I allowed the mechanics of the game to play out. While I was accused of favoritism, the opposite was true. Arguably, Others might say i was disloyal to Squatch.

Clearly stated in the instructions.....
Also, the buffet theme was that you could pick which items you wanted to eat.....
Based on the rules set forth, you should be on the chopping block and offer up your gimp in your place... then you will be auctioned off as a gimp for 1 week, unless no one bids on you, which should leave you out of the games.....
No hard feelings, just interpreting the games and rules

Jeff, as HGMF Czar, I'll leave the decision up to you. I've offered a reasonable solution. Whatever your ruling is, I'll abide by it. I think one of the two outcomes should be mutually exclusive - either I'm on the block, or I'm eligible to be a gimp for not paying attention to the rules,but retain my own gimp.
That, or K9 is transferred to one of the other victors, if I advance,and just remain a competitor since there aren't grandgimp rules.
