Well, he comes from a different era where staunch racism and bigoted feelings were not only tolerated but rather encouraged and his words are out of date that's all.

He is an Obama supporter and surely it's understandable as I'm sure the "whig" party is just causing a fuss and a darn ruckus up 'thar for the president of these 34 States of America!

Who cares? Rep or Dem, they are all the same. They don't give a frick about working class. They send our jobs over seas, I mean look at all the shite we buy and see where it is made......how much of your shite is made in America....Food doesn't count. They give huge tax cuts and credits to the wealthy. They are pledging 1 billion dollars in aid to the Ukraine, all teh while we have around 2 million AMERICANS who lost umemployment, and these arse clowns in office would rather help these other counties before helping our own citizens.

So who cares if he bashes the republicans, b/c is there really a difference b/w them?

Really, really stupid comment that frankly shows a total lack of perspective.

There isn't a difference these days but he chose to pick one party that is known to be supported by white males and compare shirts and ties to the hoods of the klan. So yes frick him

Anyone who thinks Reps or Dems cares about them is disillusioned. And why is Obama black when his mother is white?

that link sucks but i read enough to get the point...he is just regurgitating what he hears and what he is told to believe....it was the Republicans who fought for civil rights and Abolished slavery...not the Dems...

but....both parties are pretty fricked up right now...Republicans are divided amongst themselves and the Democrats are sliding ever so steadily toward socialism...and both are responsible for our debt...

fire all of em...and start over

oh and after seeing his old senile arse the other night, i wouldn't give his thoughts much credit anyway....

Republicans are racist, but I give them some credit...I'd bet they'd vote to keep lynching outlawed.

They're not as bad as the KKK.

Libertarian here. Ron Paul would have fixed our shite, but too many ignorant fools listening to the media lies and bullshite.

That said, I'm so over black people/Liberals/Democrats calling Republicans/anyone who says a bad word about Obama racist and blindly following Obama simply because of his skin color. YOU'RE the real racists, period. And you can get pissed off about it all ya like. But you're the definition of a racist in every sense of the word.

While I appreciate Hank's contribution to the Braves back in the day, any Obama supporter at this point is out of touch with reality. My wife's 96 year old Mom is a good example. She's a sincere/committed Southern Baptist, against abortion and gay marriage yet is a traditional Democrat because she is completely uninformed about what the Democrat Party represents today.

This right here.

What Hank Aaron implied was that people should all line up and support Obama regardless of whether they disagree with the content of his platform or not. Basically, he's saying that because Obama is black, anybody who opposes him is a racist. That concept is pathetic.

Wow. And you vote? Please get educated.

Who is "they"? The government doesn't have the power to send jobs overseas. Companies do that. Steel, textiles, etc. jobs are going overseas for the main reason that Asian countries pay their employees pennies to the dollar what US employers HAVE to pay. You can literally cut your manufacturing costs by 100+ percent by having it manufactured in China or Philippines.

But yeah, you go ahead and raise that minimum wage and keep complaining that we don't have any jobs here and they're all overseas. The US worker is pampered compared to most of the world.

But yeah, the politicians are rotten on both sides.

And Samson... just stop. Republicans are racist? Evidence please.

Why do you think companies take there business overseas? The government certainly plays a roll behind the reasoning don't you think?
