Just how big is this thing?

Everyone is focusing on the piece of shite that ratted Gurley out over the 75 autographs, but it looks like 75 is only the tip of the iceburg........

If you want to lose further confidence/respect for Gurley's judgement, go here..... LINK......................and type in any serial number between L39251 and L39749, and check out what name comes up 500 times consecutively...........in this one batch.

500 serial numbers in a row means they were all submitted at the same time. That they were all signed consecutively. 500 times. What a dumb arse.........

He'll make millions in less than 6 months. She's made it this long, couldn't she hold out a little longer?

And I find it very hard to believe there is no family or friend to the Gurley family that could help them out in the meantime to maybe get on a future millionaire's good side.

I'm not going to comment specifically regarding Gurley's case until the facts become clear. But I will say that players who sell themselves like whores in college obviously don't give a shite about their respective universities. It's not that their stupid; any player who does something like this KNOWS that they are violating NCAA regulations. It is impossible for me to believe that Mark Richt and his staff of all people do not counsel our players about this type of activity. No, what it obviously means is that such players decide they are not going to play by the rules consequences be damned. Talented players KNOW that they will be high draft picks in the NFL and will become millionaires regardless of NCAA rule violations.

I watch the NFL sometimes because it's football. But I don't really give a shite about it. If I even make it to the end of a game, I certainly don't think about it again once I turn it off. Honestly, it could go away, and I wouldn't care.

Sadly.....that's where college football is headed for me. The greed march towards expansion, play-offs, and all the rest of the bullshite like this......are ruining it.

It's as popular as ever nationally, for sure. And it's still great. But, just not the same to me anymore on a lot of levels. And it never will be again. Oh well.

I'm developing a theory that perhaps Gurley is using the NCAA violations to pull himself out of the game & protect his NFL career.

It's not trendy to pick RBs early but I can see TG going #1 overall... (bout as close to a sure thing as possible)

You ever notice how he can finish a run by lowering his shoulder, hurdling, or even by avoiding the hit by diving or getting down for a couple extra yards? Gurley reminds me of Eric Dickerson, Deion Samders, Demaryius Thomas, and Earl Campbell all wrapped in one.

I agree with all of this. Those who say the players should be paid/benefit from their talent in college should be careful what they wish for because once college football becomes professional football in college, it will no longer be the same game I have loved throughout most of my lifetime.

Mf*ing this. But I got slammed for saying the same thing. Gurley knew what he was doing was against the rules, period. If this is as big as Jefferson is saying it may be, then my opinion of Gurley will change. There is no way that much can be defended. NONE.

If his mom was pressuring him to do it, then where did she get the idea? My bet is that the dealers have been saying "Look, you get him to sign this and you will get this..." Who knows, maybe they even paid her some up front.

But, the more I think about it and the fact that I just can't get Jefferson's insinuation out of my head, the madder I am becoming. And if that is true, then that shows that Gurley is stupid beyond belief or that he KNEW it was against the rules and did it anyway. Either way, I am trying to withold judgement, but the picture isn't looking good for Mr. Gurley.

Honestly same here. I don't know if I'm just growing up and realizing there are bigger issues than how the dawgs do or if I'm just numb after stupid shite happening to all my teams every year, but I wasn't even that mad yesterday. Kind of a "are you fricking serious?" reaction when I got my phone and I went to sleep fine.

Me neither. Some folks on here were damn near suicidal, though.

Gurley knew exactly what he was doing. He doesn't care about maintaining integrity in college football; no kid does. It's about the almighty dollar.

Did anyone watch the Peyton Manning special on ESPN? That dude cared about college football. His generation is the last to actually care about the game.

These days, every school is Auburn on some level. It's honestly disgusting.

this thought did cross my mind as well, although it is pretty diabolical and he doesn't seem like that type of guy at all.
