Key piece is the eligibility for appeal. We will see what happens with that.

Seeing as how long they dragged their feet on this already, I don't see him on the bus to Jax

WTF

Gurley to Return 11/15

This story just went from "Free Gurley" to "Thanks, Bye" and with it any sentiment from team members, coaches, fans or the general public. Bottom line: Gurley has used UGA as a springboard to the pros and really doesn't give a shite about our university. And I would add that this trend towards paying players legally is jut going to make this kind of attitude even more prevalent. Welcome to professional sports in college.

You have literally zero idea how the team or coaches feel about gurley.

Or how I (one of the fans) feel...because I personally am not throwing Gurley to the wolves. I don't hate him for what he did and don't think he has no regard for the team.

Speak for yourself, but not for all of humanity.

While true, that's how I feel so I am merely projecting. But if you don't think the light of this story hasn't changed many attitudes about Gurley, then obviously you haven't read the numerous responses on this board and elsewhere.

this board is like 20 georgia fans typing anonymously on teh internet.

Yet you assumed that our coaches and players feel the same way. That's simply ignorant.

You read my mind exactly. He could have waited until the end of this season.. but NOOO. He had to ruin his heisman chances, he had to put the team in danger of losing, he had to embarrass UGA and fans. His fans supported him so much.. but how did he treat them? signing with MULTIPLE dealers after he was told MANY TIMES that was not allowed. He is a selfish money grabbing excuse for a human being. He places money on the highest pedestal above ALL. Too bad he was too stupid to figure out that if he had any patients and modesty he would make so much money with along side a heisman trophy. I hope each day he looks at the mirror from his celler and regrets what he has become. The son of hard working parents that has become so self indulged with himself. He is a monster.

No more ignorant than you. The truth is neither of us knows how the coaches and players feel and as I stated and you ignored I was merely projecting my personal sentiment which is being shared by many. I can conjecture with the best of them so kindly get over yourself.

FWIW, I've talked to a lot of UGA fans outside of the rant. A lot of them have said Gurley shouldn't have done what he did (even though they disagree with the policy), but I have not met a single fan outside of the rant who did not want Gurley back on the field.

You frickers sit here and lick there nuts like there some fricking king and they are sitting there patting you on the head laughing at you while you do it

I would say it is more about being smart. Many players may not care but at least they are not outright stupid to sign with multiple dealers out in the open after being told by coaches and administrator multiple times to stop.
