I think Tennessee is the best team we play this year. This Tennessee team is really good.

Gunner played great on the road in a huge hostile environment.
Here's the Box Score on Fox Sports: GA vs TN
He had much worse protection than Aguilar but completed 74.2% of his passes for 304 yards, 2 TDs with a quarterback rating of 177.9.
He also ran for 38 yards and was sacked 3 times; Aquilar was only sacked once.

Tennessee scored 41 on us today. Overtime aside, if you had told me that pregame I would have expected to have lost, possibly badly.

Bingo. Even the most positive folks were nervous about getting into a shootout. Gunner showed us what he's been showing in practice. He stepped WAY up and, when combined with all the talented receivers around him, gave us a heckuva offense to take into the rest of the 2025 season.

He played great. Hopefully that was a huge confidence boost.

Pass pro...what can be done to fix the right side? TN saw that weakness and exploited it big time. That needs to be fixed ASAP. Can Searles get it done?

I thought he played well and then I saw his stat line. Wow!

He is still a little inexperienced but he will improve with time. I would have liked to have seen him throw it down the field more but that will come as well and when it does, we will be unstoppable. The one long throw he did have was a beautiful TD! Oh and that long throw at the beginning of the game.

It kinda reminded me of Stafford to Henderson down in Tuscaloosa.

I was at that game. We had away tickets right next to the UGA band. It was awesome.

Pro tip - don’t ever rely on getting a cab back to the hotel after a game in Tuscaloosa. I thought I was going to have to sleep on the street.

That ball he threw to Humphreys for the TD is one of the best throws I have ever seen a Georgia QB make. He couldn't have walked out there and handed it to him in a better spot, and he did it with the game on the line.

I was one who wasn't sure what we had in Gunner, but that was an awfully impressive performance.
