Georgia wide receiver Terry Godwin is dealing with a shoulder injury according to a twitter post by Lucas Rogers of Bulldawg Illustrated and comments from teammate Reggie Davis on Monday. Rogers tweeted a photo of Godwin with a sling on his right arm prompting reporters to ask Davis about the injury when he met with media in the evening.
"Terry, he had a small little shoulder injury so we had to pick up our reps on that, too," Davis said. "But all its going to do is make us better in the long run."
It is unknown how severe the injury is at this point and whether or not it is keeping Godwin out of practice. The Bulldogs didn't workout on Monday after two practices on Sunday. Head Coach Mark Richt elected to take the team to the Ramsey Center for the annual pool day. Godwin, Georgia's most highly regarded signee at wide receiver in 2015, is expected by many to compete for early playing time in Athens.

Hope it's minor, if true. The good news would be both Stanley and Chigbu are coming along nicely.

You owe me a pair of drawers, cause I stained mine when I heard this news! Let's hope the injury bug does not show it's ugly arse head this year.

Word is that the shoulder injury suffered by Terry “Little T” Godwin this past Sunday is not too serious. The freshman wide receiver suffered a minor sprain after getting hit on his right shoulder. He missed Tuesday morning’s practice while rehabbing the injury but is not expected to be out for an extended period.
Godwin, a five-star prospect out of Callaway High School in Hogansville, has been one of the early standouts among the incoming freshmen in preseason camp. He appeared to have worked his way into the six-man receiver rotation before Sunday’s setback.
