This team hasn't really been fun to watch since 2017

God that was a pathetic half

Consider we only had like 2-3 possessions... it wasn’t that awful. We are moving the ball at will and will dominate them in the 2nd half.

We saw Dwan, everyone called for his head after a half.

JT Daniels threw off his back foot his entire time at USC. Now he’s coming off a knee injury.

Carson Beck is a true freshman who completed less than 50% of his passes in HS last year.

In the first 4 possessios of this practice starved season Mathis wasn't worse than this and he is more athletic, comparably accurate (at least), equipped qith a stronger arm, and 6 freakin 6.

Daniels is simply a better player than the Stetson we've seen in the past 4 quarters.

Listen, he's proven to be able to move the ball. He threw for quite a bit of yards against Bama

When you throw 40 passes, 269 yards is pathetic.

There's a reason why he's starting over the other QBs.

Because Kirby still cares more about the QB not losing the game for him rather than having a playmaker who can put the team on his back and win it.

I’d be fine to try Mathis again. Beck and Daniels aren’t there.

Kirby is 38-4 when easing at halftime. 3 to Bama. Who is the fourth?

How many picks does he have to throw before we stop with the “good head and heart” fantasy?
I'm fine with giving someone else a shot at this point but we have to wonder whether or not we have a better option at this point. CKS knows what he's got.

The point is that the odds of another QB playing worse is small enough at this point that it’s worth trying even if Kirby is convinced that we don’t have another “game-ready” guy. Nobody thought Bennett was a viable option preseason but we went to him against Arkansas because we were desperate. We’re desperate again now.

If someone else comes in and sucks worse, go back to Bennett. Our offense is so bad right now that any “confidence” we lose from jostling QBs isn’t worth caring for at this point. Bennett is horrible and everyone with functioning retinas knows it.

He doesn’t have a great history of this at QB.

My question is if Kirby wants his QB to game manage and not make mistakes, is 4 int’s in the past 6 quarters enough?

Daniels stats and Stetsons are very comparable at this point.

Daniels also does not have the locker room. Again, I’m fine with Dwan if you want to make the switch to someone else.

It’s a pretty notable example.

Kirby chose a 5th round draft pick who will likely never play a meaningful snap for the Bills over a top 3 draft pick who is going to be an NFL starter right out of the gate.

Always, always, always play the QB with more upside.
