Did you forget that Trump sent 14 tons of PPE to PPE producer China at the onset of our pandemic? The only American Trump cares about is himself.

I did forget about that. Can you enlighten me and explain it to me, and maybe link me something about this? I've never heard of this.

Actually, according to Politifact, 18 tons of PPE was sent to China by the Trump administration.
Yes, US shipped donated personal protective equipment to China in February
Many national news sites reported this story. It seems nuts because almost all of our PPE was produced in China.

According to that link, our government sent a bunch of PPE to China very early on in the pandemic, before it was actually declared a pandemic, with the support of the WHO, to help them try and contain their massive outbreak there.
Question #1- Why was that a bad thing, in your personal opinion?
Question #2- How did this benefit Trump financially, as you claimed above?

I never claimed that Trump benefited financially. Trump is motivated by revenge against late night comedians and the American public who've made him a laughing stock for over 40 years. The jokes go as far back as the Johnny Carson show.

This statement by you at the top of the page clearly implies that he did it for himself. Can you see how an objective person would read this statement and infer that you do indeed suggest he is getting a financial gain for sending PPE to China?

Can you see how an objective person would read this statement and infer that you are claiming Trump is so mad at Jay Leno, Letterman, Carson, Conan, Oprah, The View, and many others, that he said "frick it, we're sending all our PPE to China, that'll show 'em!" ????

Trump is vengeful. He is more interested in causing damage to society than he is to grifting.
If you want to see the real Trump find the video of his reaction after the D.C. crowd erupted in laughter at the correspondents' dinner when Obama compared the decision whether to fire Meatloaf or Gary Busey with the decision to kill Bin Laden.

Trump's go-it-alone strategy really hasn't exactly worked, or put "America first." This isn't 1950 where the rest of the world was left in ruins after WW2, and America was the global hegemon and could do what we wanted. The rest of the world has caught up. Especially China. The only way we are going to contain China is by teamwork with other western democracies. It's a symbiotic relationship. The fact that we contributed more to NATO was not a defect, but a design. By paying the most, we call the shots. Not some pussy country like France or Italy. If you want another example, by pulling out of the WHO, we missed out on tens of millions of COVID vaccines that instead went to "shithole" countries. So much winning.
In my opinion the most egregious example of this was what Trump did to the Kurds. It's not like we left Syria either. American troops are still there, just in the south. We pulled out of the north so Turkey could butcher the Kurds, and in return, Erdogan didn't nix Trump's hotel deal in Ankara.
Also, I bet you Trumpets got a hard on when you saw this. So much for being "pro-life"

What in the Holy Hell are you talking about? WHO developed the vaccines? When did this happen?
BTW,if it weren't DJT and America big Pharma "going at it alone" how long do you think the WHO woulda taken to develop vaccines?

No, of course not. Did I say that? But they did contract very early on to buy hundreds of millions of doses from the pharmaceutical companies, a lot of which would have gone to us.

Please explain how Trump contributed to the development of this vaccine. I’m waiting with baited breath. The credit is all on the pharmaceutical companies. And I will note for the record that Pfizer’s vaccine was developed by its German team. It might be headquartered in the U.S., but large pharmaceutical companies are international conglomerates. Your hated “globalists” as it were.

So Trump the xenophobe sent PPE to China? You libtards are always good for a chuckle.

So if we were still in the WHO the other parts of the world wouldn't be getting the vaccine and it would just be going to the us?

So Operation Warp Speed had absolutely NOTHING to do with getting the vaccine out to US market in under 8 months? No red tape was cut or regulations waived ?
WTH is sleepy Joe giving the Trump administration credit? Or even Dick Durbin calling it a "dramatic success?"
Posted on 12/24/20 at 2:06 pm to RD Dawg
Trump deserves credit for his part of a vaccine in a year. Obviously scientists deserve the bulk, but no denying Trump deserves his due.
Posted on 12/24/20 at 2:55 pm to retooc
Right now the funding needed to distribute vaccine is tied up in the COVID relief bill that Trump has so far refused to sign. Politicians on both sides of the aisle are all in a tissy. If Trump doesn't sign by the 3rd the whole process starts over with a new congress.

Maybe it shouldn’t have been filled with bullshite then and should’ve just had to do with COVID.

From what I've read the extra BS that's in the bill is typical shite that gets passed every year and they pushed it into one bill instead if two.
I'm not saying it's money we should spend. What I am saying is it's not filled with items that aren't passed every year about thid time.
