It does sound like some people are butthurt.
Fields seems like a pretty good kid. Heard nothing but good things from his team and OSU fans. High school folks absolutely raved about him.
Folks look kinda small hoping for him to fail.

There is no credible evidence of that. You're simply referencing a throwaway comment he made after the South Carolina game due to disappointment of not playing. That doesn't make him a tumor.
If you want to hate on the kid, it's no skin off my back. I hope he has an incredible career, and if he plays us, I hope he has the most miserable day of his football playing life. I'll leave it there.

Butthurt would equate to being jilted by him. Based on his behavior on the team from what we saw and heard, the team is better off without him. So, that would mean we are not in fact butthurt or even butthurting. If he handed the situation with class, I’d say most of not all would be cheering for him. He didn’t, therefore, frick him.

I'd talk with the coaching staff about that if you had a problem with it. That doesn't make him a cancer. Every 5 star kid on that field has an ego the size of the moon.
