I stopped talking trash to my Auburn friends as well. One of my Auburn friends said he thought AU had the funds to "fix" the problem. I really just kept my mouth shut at that point. Other than 2 great seasons they have been dysfunctional the last 20 years. Beating the brakes off that Auburn team was no accomplishment Saturday. After I saw 1 quarter of their offense I knew they were a very bad football team with some major issues with their coaching staff. Maybe Auburn's shady dealings finally caught up with them, and this continued after all the corruption that went on when Dye was there.

Talking shite to my auburn friend isn't fun unless he has hope and confidence. Auburn doesn't have that right now, so it's like making fun of a retard.

I guess I'm the minority. I don't feel bad for them. They sold their souls to the devil for 2010. They are broken and triggered so much by UGA and Kirby. Glorious days boys. Glorious days!

This is true to the point that I have stopped talking shite to my auburn people.

Nah. I used to half way like Auburn unless we played them. After the 2010 game, I want them to loose ever game by 50 points.

I agree that this is just desserts for the Cam Newton deal.

Peter, you should venture over to the SEC Rant and make a topic about how half of Auburn's out of state students are dumb dumbs from metro ATL who couldn't get into UGA. You should do this now.

That thread is food for a UGA fan's soul. When they start whining about how mean we are, it means they know they are second class. Reminds me of the way USC fans used to be. The next step is ambivalence.

To be clear, these frickers have:

-Turned hoses into the stands like the fricking civil rights movement (the state Alabama seems to like that shite) just because they lost a football game

-Spent an entire quarter actively trying to injure a quarterback when the game was decided

-Been on probation multiple times and their only natty since desegregation was achieved through cheating.

frick Auburn. They deserve exactly what they’re getting right now.

Let's not forget they also named Nick Fairly "honorary" team captain for the
2017 game. F Auburn

The greatest insult to a rival is not to talk bad trash to them but to feel sorry for them.

I am not quite there right now but that is one more pitiful team. Why in the heck did they want to run off Tuberville, Chizik and Gus? I am not sure I can name all of their coaches since Dye, definitely not in order.

An established P5 coach is not going to take that job.

They really did before this. I remember on the old Dawgvent some guy had put together a blog about the corruption at Auburn that went on during the later Dye years going back to the Ramsey tapes. It was quite a torrid blog and went into all the details of how the corruption was tied to some bank in Alabama. Then you have Bruce Pearl and the FBI investigation with the hoops team. It's amazing how their football and basketball programs have escaped the death penalty.
