I must say, Stetson really impressed me tonight. I've been kinda hard on him, and I must admit: I was wrong. Stetson CAN beat Alabama if the defense shows up.

However, I must push back just a tad and say that Stet still scares the heck out of me on at least three plays a game whether he's playing well or not, most notably, when he rolled out to the right and threw a dangerous pass into coverage. If he can just cut out those turnover worthy plays, then ima roll with Screech.

Regardless, fellow JTaholics and Stetsonites, I think we should all concur that this QB situation in its totality has been a unique one. This will sounds corny as all get out, but its true: we all fought hard for the guy we wanted to start because we all wanted Georgia to WIN.

If I end up on the wrong side as the antagonist in a sports movie who denied the former walk on, then so be it, because I'll be there at the end cheering that little MFer on the hardest, fully converted.

Until he stops shitting the bed vs Bama, it really doesn't mean anything. Beat Bama and win the National Championship. Until that happens nothing has changed.

Should we name all the QBs that Alabama has beaten? Does that make them bad, somehow? Ridder is supposed to go in the 1st round and he looked very bleh.

Matt Corral did better, but still lost.

D'Eriq King looked bad.

QBs looking bad against Alabama is not some rare occurrence. What people seem to forget is if you want to beat Alabama it has to be a whole team effort. Not just a QB. not just a defense. not just a WR. The whole team has to step up.

Bennett could have played well against Alabama and they would have beaten us last time. Our defense played badly.

Sometimes you can't just pin it on one play or one player.

People who say do it vs Bama have been sleeping for 10 years, I guess

If only it were that easy to topple dynasties.

From someone who has been pro Stetson, he still worries me. His pass to Burton for the TD before the half was a gem. Every other long ball was overthrown or underthrown. Bryce Young, by comparison, never misses his mark.

Stetson played as well as he has all season, and if our defense shows up, that type of performance should be good enough to beat Bama. If Bama is scoring at will, again, then we should be concerned.

It was underthrown. Go rewatch it right now. Cook had to slow down. It was only “in stride” because cook had 3-4 yards of separation from his defenders. It would be an incomplete pass or a pick with better coverage.

You can't nitpick everything.

When guy has 3 yards of separation, you be sure not to miss him vs throw the perfect ball.

The pass was very good.

You people are something else man. Nit picking an amazing play in a CFB playoff game by your favorite team for what exactly?

"Well if several factors of the play were different, it would have been incomplete".

Just absolutely moronic.

Fair and I’ll give him that. So two good deep balls. The early one to Bowers was overthrown. Same for the one to Washington. And the one to Pickens. And a bunch of others. All I’m saying is Bryce doesn’t miss, and I worry if we are back in a deficit.

Like they've been sleeping. Do they not realize how many teams have NOT beaten Alabama?

I get it. I want to beat them badly, too. Especially in this next game, but wake up and realize that it is going to take a whole team effort and not just one player.

Will the few brave men of honor, good instincts, & integrity who stood up for Stet and defended him throughought the count storm rain or shine also get apologies?

We were standing up for football… for logic… for team… Stetson just happens to be a great story. A great story a lot of UGA fans didn’t get to experience.

I think Stetson is a good qb. I support him but he has 5 turnovers in 2 games vs Bama and those 5 turnovers were major factors why we lost. I'm past the point of morale victories. This is the best team Georgia has fielded and from a talent perspective overall a better team than Bama. If they lose and Stetson doesn't turn the ball over 2-3 times then so be it. Currently it is National Championship or nothing.

He certainly didn't miss against us but wasn't the same
vs Cincinnati. Missed several and also had some dropped passes.

He played the perfect game vs us and I don't think he can duplicate it especially if we bring more pressure.
