Breaking losing streak against Alabama
Bama fans are less likely to chirp up about what was once on-sided but is absolutely a solid rivalry now
Tennessee, Auburn & Florida fans have zero ammo. For anything involving football
"Defense wins championships" got new life breathed into it
"Stet doesn't have the skills to win it all" arguments mean nothing now
No talk about Kirby/Dawgs choking/ "Kirby can't win the big game"/Kirby got outcoached
Saban-Kirby's Master/Apprentice narrative is dead. Obviously NS has more trophies, but there's some parity now between us & Bama
Scads of National Championship gear for the next year

It's such a huge deal for a coach to win a National championship. Richt was arguably one play away and would have changed his legacy. It seems to cement your legacy as either "was a great coach" or "was a legendary coach." This will also do a lot for tourism and growth in GA(like we need any more people).

Hearing some guy walking down Wilshire Blvd. in Beverly Hills today alternating the "U-G-A" and "S-E-C" chant all by himself. Wish I could have gotten out of the office to see who it was. Fairly certain copious amounts of alcohol and certain processed Andean flora were involved.

That is amazing.
We've always said that if we were forcibly relocated to CO or MT because we bought too many fleece pullovers, we'd be the most obnoxious UGA transplants known to man. I can only imagine what Dawg ex-pats are going to be like in other states.
