When will team workouts and practice begin? What about scrimmages? What are they doing to get ready for the fall season (assuming it happens)?

FWIW all freshmen and most of the rest of the team are on campus and working out (“voluntarily”). Not sure if they’ve started 7on7 work yet but I’d assume so

Thanks for that catch lol
All players are on campus except McKitty.
Not sure about 7 on 7, but I do know QB/WR's and DB's were working 1 on 1 last week.

IIRC Pass Skel usually started up in July in anticipation of August practice but I’m not sure what they’ll be doing this year with guys at varying levels of conditioning

I am so ready for football. We have had pandemics, riots, murder hornets, and today a major hail storm. If I wake up tomorrow and it’s raining frogs I would not be surprised.

Been hearing good things about him on twitter. We really need him to step up

You heard anything about James Cook being over all his nagging injuries from last year?

I think both could be a factor this season.

He should be good to go. Worked with Dalvin and another family member during the offseason. Looks to have bulked up a little. Interested to see how he's used as well.

I am ready for the Kenny McIntosh era. Doubts about Cook and Zeus aside, I think Kenny is going to be a good back. Not going to be what we're used to which is unfair but that kid impressed me.

Yes sir. Running game should look different with Monken. I think Kenny gets a good look this year.

And ironed out some kinks on his routes with that 4.4 speed....

2 headed attack with Kenny & Zeus excites me. I think seeing that and even 2 back sets with Cook in would be nifty. But man, if I am Monken and I use my NCAA controller I just run 3 TE Shotgun sets with read option every play.

Damn the torpedoes. DGD understands this.

Gonna be a DGD. Regardless of his injury, he really needed a redshirt to gain weight.

Monken is going to build around the talent. Will definitely see some 2 back sets (20/21 sets). Been watching a lot of film on him. Ready to see it on the field.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, give Kenny Cook’s snaps.

With La'Jai at QB you are really in a 3 back set. So many ways to sprinkle "bye felicia" dust on the defense on every down and distance.

Really hoping JT Daniels gets his waiver. Should give the coaches the security blanket they need to let Newman run. Hoping Daniels can just play backup this Fall while the rehabs and take over as starter next year but we need a serviceable backup to give Newman the green light to seek contact
