Here's what I said back on Oct 21:

quote:

Neither GT nor any P4 team they've played has beaten a ranked opponent. The highest ranked opponent that any of them have faced (other than #7 GT) is #11 BYU (Colorado played them), who probably has as good a claim to be top 10 as GT.

LINK

I'm glad we got a chance to find out who deserved to be there.

StingTalk delusions of grandeur. I'm not sure if anybody on Georgia's roster is making $2M a year. We may pay somebody that much to return next year, but that guy's not one of them.

I only said $2 million because you are bidding against Texas A&M and Ohio St.

But his mother doesn’t like to fly and she attends all his games so it probably more like $1 million

Real talk.

I'm skeptical about UGA paying even $1M. If somebody's offering $2M, my guess is that's where he'll be.

Arguing over a player's value isn't worth the time—most people don’t care

Look at it another way: UGA is getting a top WR from Tech

Meanwhile, Buster is taking Athens natives to Florida

I won’t mention Gunner again. You’re not ready to connect the dots

And I only say Roll Tech because we are getting Alabama players.

Get it?

Yes, after deliberating considerably upon your cryptic & eloquent message, I have concluded that you're retarded

Not really. I wasn't trying to be confrtontational about Canion, just don't think the market is quite that high right now for a player with his resume. Georgia may well end up with 95 players on roster and $1M is a good sized dent in their total cap. If they pay that, I hope he's worth it.

If you think Canion is getting $2 million I have oceanfront property in Hahira for you. Clearly you don’t know how UGA budgets their money.

A month ago, I predicted that Miami and Notre Dame would make the playoffs over Bama—I was wrong. Or was I really?

I follow UGA football closely, I won’t go into all the details here because it’s not your cup of tea -- Can I atleast say that Nate Frazier is choppy?

Here’s the key angle to watch for: If Beau Pribula ends up as GTs portal quarterback, we’re fricked. If it’s anyone else, we’re okay. That’s the main indicator. Otherwise, everything is locked in place for UGA, Florida, Tech, and the rest.

That has nothing to do with the discussion.

Please, enlighten us with your wisdom of all things UGA football.

We’re locked in place regardless of what you’re saying

BTW, the figure circulating for Canion is $2.4 million — I knew I wasn’t crazy. That’s probably for two years? He might accept a ‘playing for UGA discount,’ I don’t know. Z. Branch was $1.2mil

No kidding. Consider it this way—Miami is basically asking, which quarterback can we sign for $4 million? They're wondering if there's even a QB worth that amount. Kirby is building his program, and I respect that, but honestly, he could have any QB in the country if he just made the call. So when you say locked in place I get it.

I actually hate that tech has been gutted just as the rivalry was getting competitive again. Oh well. It happens to the lesser programs I guess.

Griffindawg,

Pribula will be the indicator. We’re bound to lose more games, but our coach is being tested. If he comes through, we’re good. Catch you at the Benz or wherever the next game takes place.

That's not accounting for the ROI by getting put in the League from a Tier 1 CFP contender. Any 'discount' is made up on the other side of the draft.

Hey Chris!!! Topher your corny opinions back to your own board. They are as out of place here as humus at a pig picking.
