Best call by Coley all season. Running it on Swift’s first play of the game had the entire defense sucked in. Coley still blows, but that was a perfect call.

We ran that play several times since 2017 and with little success. Looks great when it connects but we haven’t had a lot of luck with it.

Yes - usually because it's overthrown, underthrown or thrown to a WR that can't catch.

Yea, I wouldnt say it lacked success because the play works. We got a TD vs MSU. But the problem usually was execution. Like when we missed it vs Auburn in 2017 and I think LSU we also missed.

A few times I recall we tried it and didn't have anyone open. It's basically a risky play-action pass and is only really effective when the DBs bite.

Only bad part was a better throw Is an easy TD. Had them beat bad. Settled for 3 on that drive

Who calls trick plays on special teams? Can't believe we got one to actually work.

Smart said it was his call. He chickened out 3 times earlier in the game (his words).
He said that fountain worked the team hard to make it work. He just wanted to make sure he called it with the proper distance (not too long)

I was most happy about it not going to Simmons and instead going to Pickins.

Although, I will admit Simmons had by far his best game of the season last night, catching nearly everything catchable thrown his way.

But I guarantee you if he was the target of the flea-flicker he would have dropped it, I have zero doubt.

Just like I freaking knew Robertson was going to drop that TD.

And after Landers caught that TD, I told everyone I was with that we can't throw to him again the rest of the game because he already hit his quota.

Thank God for Pickins' hands and the receivers coming in this next recruiting class.

I tell you what.

Simmons runs hard. There is something physical about the way he runs (for a wide receiver). That probably also explains why he is such a good blocker and special teamer.

I've picked on him a bit as a receiver. But the dude is physical and tough with the ball in his hands.

Too bad it was under thrown and we had to settle for 3.

We haven't had a lot of big plays like that so I don't know why people aren't grateful when we get them. I was more concerned that we were unable to convert the first down in the red zone to get 7 points.

Never mind that he had to shift to the left to avoid the rush which caused him to have to throw it a split second later and we got a 50 yard gain. I would have loved a TD too, yet a 50 yard pass was pretty damn awesome at that point in the game. Just odd that UGA fans would find such negativity in that Play.

Is it? We got a lot of doorknobs masquerading as people around here.

First. NO he didn’t , he stepped into the throw and there was no one in his way. The point is; which some on here continue to do; is make excuses. It’s not the first time the ball was put in the wrong place this year, it’s more common these days than not. I understand the narrative is to want to blame the receiving Corp, but it’s just not true.

Go back and actually watch the play. There is no rush That would impact anything.

No, he had pressure coming from the right side. Swift had to pick him up. You should watch it again. We had a 55 yard gain. No one needs to make excuses. What about the two TD passes that were amazing throws? Lucky? Y’all don’t bring all those up as they don’t fit whatever it is narrative you want.
