Most likely Haselwood leaves, we've thrown EVERYTHING in his recruitment. It feels like Isaiah Crowell all over again; typically when kids need that much love and reassurance then it's just not worth it. I think UGA is his best option but don't blame him if he leaves. He was always talking about playing with Fields.

Sanders? Tell him the entire starting offensive line is comprised of 5 stars. I think that'll make him feel better.

Care to support your facts then?

I don't have to because they're clear as day. Anyone with two good eyes can see using a QB with Fields talent to run one play at a time as a running wildcat QB is a waste of time and effort. The only time he was ever given a chance to throw was against cupcakes, and his passing stats speak for themselves.

Well that sucks but at the end of the day I’ll take the proven winner over potential any day.

Why would this look bad on us, because we didn't let a talented TF start over a QB who was clearly better then him?

Without getting into a pissing match over whether Fields was misused or not (you can do that with HT all night long), everybody knows that a 5* QB coming to UGA and then immediately transferring out is a bad look.

Any top quarterback that is considering UGA will be told the Fields story from other coaches going forward. It will be a hill Kirby will have to climb and it's a hill of his own creation.

I think the Fields family leaked the transfer, 2 days before eNSD. This is a middle finger to Kirby.

That is certainly possible. They might feel that Fields wasn't given adequate opportunities. (And it is hard to understand why his only sustained playing time was against UMass). That business of coming in for a predictable run play was pretty bad.

Then again, maybe Fields was a lot further from being able to run a pro offense than people thought.

Well, I'll tell you what. One of us will be proven right in the next three years. Let's see which it is.

I can't even believe I'm arguing this bullsh*t over a guy who is not going to be here any longer. You got your wish. You can continue shitting on the guy because he looked out for his own interests.

ESPN just dropped an article saying he practiced today and is only looking at exploring options of transferring

I disagree.

Looks to me like he’s acknowledging he can’t win the position and has to leave to get playing time. That doesn’t say anything other than our #1 QB must be pretty good.

Oh good Lord what a bunch of bullsh*t. The guy was never given a chance to do shite. Now you want to shite on the kid for looking out for his own interests by spouting a bunch of bullshite. Lawrence wouldn't have beaten Fromm out either. Lawrence also plays in a shite conference as well. Lawrence was give a legitimate chance. Fields was wasted.

What chance should Fields have been GIVEN? You think the UGA coaches intentionally held Fields back? That Fields didn’t have chances in practice to succeed? Fields didn’t have access to the playbook and film room? It’s a team game....and Fromm gave UGA the best chance to win. If he wants to go, he needs to go. But you are acting like a little bitch. He had his chances. Kirby has been pretty damn clear every position is up for grabs through competition. Screw the given chances....this is UGA....if you want the spot, YOU TAKE THE SPOT

Then Dan Wolken will look like the biggest idiot alive, and will have destroyed any credibility he might have had.

Kirby Smart is there to win ball games, not hold the hand of an 18 year old kid. You come in and compete. You win the job, you play.

Are you going to tell your current team, “Well, I’m going to play Fields. We need to see what he can do. We may lose a couple of games, but we will be great next year.” Bull shite, you play to win each and every game.

Running down the program by leaking this crap two days before ESD is immature. I thought more of Field’s than this.

There's too much smoke around this whole thing for that to be the only reason. It wouldn't be this drawn out and messy.

1/3 of you are paranoid, Debbie downer pieces of shite, another 1/3 of you are just saying Haselwood gone and Fields gone cause it makes your feel better to think the worst and hope for the best, the last 1/3 of you re are just following the show that is HS recruiting and realize that 2 players will never make this team that much better or worse.

You all need to take a deep breath and wait until Wednesday evening to give 2 shits.

It’s a great day to be a Dawg and we are trending up. Go Dawgs and #inKirbyiTrust

Let’s wait and see what happens, but a couple of us have already said Wolken is obnoxious in his hate for UGA. Maybe he took a scrap of truth and ran with it. Maybe he has a valid source. But, having an “anonymous” source is a good way to report something and then not have to be responsible for the veracity.
