I got banned about 5 minutes after RG slapped NOLA with his big cock. No personal attacks were made I just said that it was one if the happiest days of my life.
I guess they're on Defcon 1 during Saints games. I recall a Saints fan getting banned during the first Falcon game when he started a thread saying the Saints were going to get blown out.
Ice banned him for the rest of the game and sticky'd the thread.

This Ice fella sounds a little sensitive.

I started a thread last night asking them when they felt they would get back into playoffs. It was quickly turned into a falcon bashing thread and calling me a troll for asking a simple question. Woke up this morning and it was deleted. What a shocker!

What a bunch of bitches. They never would have lasted on the DR.

Lots of swamp trash over there. I'm gonna start one in MSB in a few, maybe it wont get deleted this time.

You came out swinging too hard... Especially when referring to Saints fans as "y'all" in the thread title, you were obviously in attack mode.
I would suggest a more subtle approach if you don't want the thread to get whacked so fast.
Nevertheless, it was still pretty funny.

I imagine most of the country is predicting us to lose, and rightfully so.
We shall see.

Yes, rightfully so. Im a Falcons fan but ill say what everyone else is trying not to say.
1 - Falcons cant run the ball to save their lives, thus Seattle wont have to have more than 7 in the box to stop the run.
2 - Seattle has a very good secondary. Since they can drop at least 4 in coverage on every down.
3 - Falcons have trouble stopping the run and will have to have 8 or 9 in the box to stop Marshawn Lynch. Russell Wilson is one of the 2 most athletic Qb's we have faced all weekend so he will have all kinds of room to operate with us sold out to stop the run.
I think the Falcons lose this game by 7-10 points.
Its just not a good matchup.

What folks like you don't get is the Falcons have 500 more receiving yards and 400 less rushing yards than last year and are net ahead in total yards, scoring, 1st down conversions, red zone efficiency, and scoring efficiency over last year by a good margin.
We have less of a running game this year because we have a bona fide screen game for a change. Yes, Turner has lost it and runs like shite. But we've easily compensated for that with a spectacular screen game that has proven to be extremely effective against defenses.
Quizz has 400 yards receiving, Snelling has 200, Turner has 130, and 300 of Julio's yards are from screens. That's over 1000 yards from screens. We barely had 400 yards in screens last year.
If Seattle leaves 4 in the secondary every play, we're going to eat them up with our elite short passing, screens, and TE/Slot middle field play all day long. Screens will eat up their blitzes too. And then when they try to adjust and leave Julio and Roddy 1v1, we're going to burn them deep and with the best route running they've faced.
The Falcons may have trouble stopping the run, but we're 2nd best in the league in red zone stops and 5th in points against. We give up yards, sure, but we don't let them score.
This defense held New Orleans to 1 rushing TD and ended Brees consecutive passing game with a TD record. Then they shut out the Giants who were leading the league in scoring at the time of that game and in a statement game that the team had circled on the calendar all year.
When this defense and team wants to step it up and dominate, they can and have. This game is bigger than the Giants game. They are going to be so laser focused, so ready. Seattle hasn't played a team like this and they won't be ready for it. Especially after traveling from west coast to East coast twice in two weeks and playing what feels like a 10am game to them.
If you're a Falcon fan and still don't believe this team is different and everything just feels different and you think they will lose this game, you should be ashamed of yourself.

Strangely, being an adult, I dont ever find myself being ashamed of having a different opinion from others. Its called thinking for myself and arriving at my own conclusion. Whether or not I turn out to be correct is immaterial here.
If you are correct and the Falcons win, I will be just as happy about it as you will, but Ill expect you to come here and do some na na na boo boos about it.
If I am correct, I wont come back here and tell you that I was right and that you should be ashamed of yourself for thinking the Falcons would win.
Bottom line is that I have one opinion about what will happen and you and the rest of the board have another. No one need be ashamed of themselves for their opinion.

Fine, ignore that part and address the rest.
Do you not agree that the addition of our screen game compensates for the running game being less effective than in previous years?
Mind you, the stats more than support it. We are top 5 in virtually every offensive efficiency stat and our offense has surpassed each of the last 4 years offenses by large margins in all but running.
And if you we're to tack on the yardage from screens this year to the team rushing yardage, we actually come out with more than last year and we would be 8th in the league in rushing. Did you know that? Does that change anything for you?

I know the screen has worked well for us this year and yes, I agree that it is pretty much an extension of the run game the way the Falcons use it.
I have also made the same point you have about the falcons defense this year being 5th in points allowed.
Doesnt change anything for me. I still think this is a bad matchup for the Falcons. Ill give you a couple more reasons.
The Panthers (a bad team with a mobile, athletic QB) beat us once and really should have beaten us the other time.
RGIII and the Redskins gave the Falcons all they could handle.
Finally, I just dont think the Falcons are as battle tested as the Seahawks. The schedule was pretty weak in my opinion.
I could be wrong, and Ill be ecstatic if I am, but thats how it looks to me.
