You were the biggest Nate Frazier evangelist on here last season and you tried to tell us over and over that if only Frazier played more, everything would be magically better.
Now apparently you've dumped Frazier and have moved on to this season's shiny new freshman savior.
At least you're consistent.

Is that because we can’t? Or saving the plays? Not sure why we would save those plays for 2 full games if so.
Aaron Murray said on his breakdown last night that “deep shots were called” but they weren’t there bc of the OLine.
I’m not as worried as most about next week.
Defense travels and I think all the dink and dunk and running will shorten the game.

Where and when did I dump him?
Making shite up to tell a story for some reason.
He also leads the team in rushing and this weekend he led the team as well
So what are you yapping about

Also, there is no magically fix everything while Bobo is the OC. I have been clear about that since we have 20 years of data. Even told you bookmark it until that changes

Pugs will not see the field this season outside of injury or garbage time. I think Kirby is the best coach in CFB, but if he has one fault it’s loyalty.
It's still early and I don't know how the offense will look going forward, but to be successful the passing game has to be more diverse. Not necessarily deep throws, but more completions to every part of the field, and fewer horizontal or nearly horizontal throws.
If that doesn't happen, then I think we'll see a change at QB. There are too many athletic defenses ahead that can run to the ball and tackle; compressing the area in which the offense operates plays right into their hands. Loyalty or not, Kirby will start looking forward after some number of losses.

I hope you’re right.

Down 7 points at the half, you stay with the starter.
Down 20 at the half? Maybe time for a change.

Kirby said the shorter passes were because that was what was open, AP was covering the deep patterns so he said to take what they give you. If they bring the DBs up, then go deep.

Sigh….Im not surprised we have the annual “when will the backup get to play” thread but didn’t expect it after game 2.

Very concerning to be honest

Well, we’re going to see how accurate this is because if I’m TN I’m bringing everyone up daring Gunner to throw downfield and playing my corners tight to defend that quick out that we throw 20 times a game.

This is all fine, but why does it seem like we’re the only good team impacted by this phenomenon against the Austin Peays of the world?
At a certain point an offense has to dictate things. We can’t succeed against anyone decent without explosive plays. Kirby knows that better than anyone, which is why I suspect he’s trying to give Stockton/Bobo some public cover rather than giving his actual opinion.

Are we now assuming that he can not throw the ball down field or did Bobo not call any down field passes?

There were more than a few missed shots downfield. They were there. So either GS is not looking and/or the OL isnt giving him enough time and he feels rush is my take.

How many? I think there were about 5. On the other hand, I don’t think any of those misses went for a loss or turnover. One deep ball he did throw was late and 8 had a shot at that fade. I think it hit his hands.

I’m not assuming either. We just know that the result was that nothing was completed downfield.

Ok, so y’all know the result, kinda, but not the cause?

That's fair, but I think down 14 and you maybe make that QB change to see if it breathes some life.
