I was routing for LSU because I felt that auburn would have came into the game vs GA deflated like they did with GA state after losing to Penn State.

Maybe they would have been angrier if they lost idk. Thoughts?

Honestly, I don’t think it matters.

Let them be happy, enthusiastic, and optimistic. I prefer it that way.

I don’t know. But the benching/firing definitely lit a fire under Bo Nix. I saw an interview with him monday and he looked like his dog had died, but he rebounded and is riding high with some confidence now

Don’t think we can discount, either, that the LSU defense allowed Nix to do what he loves best which is to bail out of the pocket and improvise.

I don’t think we will give him that kind of freedom or time.

Yeah, he looked like Archie Manning a few times running around back there

It's better that they beat LSU in a battle. If they had lost, desperation would have set in. We would become the singular possibility of saving their entire season. A desperate, cornered opponent with a decent talent level is worse than a team coming off a big win and feeling pretty confident.

Doesn’t matter all that matters is this is at Auburn where freaky and unholy shite happens. I expect us to stomp them but if we struggle and get into a dogfight you just know some fricked up shite will happen in favor of Auburn

Just glad the game is at 3:30 pm and not 7:30 pm.

This LSU team is just bad. I think they are looking at 6-6 or 7-5 this year. Coach O is probably in the unemployment line at the end of the year.

Aubies will play a tighter run D than Arky did. Arky stayed in pass defense all afternoon. Stetson will need to get his passing arm ready to go. Auburn does not have a dominating offense, by any stretch. Tank is supposedly not at 100%. Nix will scramble around a pick up a few first downs but these Vick-like scrambles can't be counted on as a regular part of your offense.

Auburn will need to pull some serious magic out of their asses to have a shot in this game.

We need to come out and shut that crowd up with our 1st few drives on O, and smother, cover, and chunk their asses on D.

I want the stadium quieter than a morgue by half.

Auburn is definitely going into this game on a high from last week, and they’re at home! This might be UGA’s toughest game all year? Let’s hope UGA comes out ready to punch them in the mouth, and not the other way around!

Rewatching the LSU game now

Hard to gauge if Auburn did anything particularly noteworthy on offense as the LSU defensive effort was flat out disgraceful. Poor tackling, terrible angles, lackluster hustle. If anything, you can takeaway that Auburn at least wanted it more. Schematically and personnel-wise, I’m not seeing anything that worries me

Also, LSU fans are fricking suspect. Up 2 over a division rival in the 4th quarter at night and the stadium is half empty.
