I see a lot of back and forth going on between the two fanbases.

They consider us an arch rival. We consider them a pesky little brother, but not nearly as much of a rival as Auburn, GT, or Florida.

Generally speaking, they hate us way more than we hate them. Not sure why it worked out that way.

Their head coach hates us and the fanbase feeds off of that.

We are their biggest conference rivals by far. Florida and Auburn are our biggest by a considerable margin.

Not traditionally, but they should take GTs spot since GT sucks so bad. Who wants a rival that never wins?

I always thought Spurrier hated UT more. I dunno.

I know a handful of Cock fans, but not too many. I don't hate them; they're just really weird people. Small sample size, I suppose.

I guess, but it pales in comparison to the other established rivals we have.

I don't get as much joy in beating them as I do Florida, Auburn, or Tech, but losing to them might be the most annoying other than losing to Tech.

Vanderbilt is better traditionally than they are. Guess it's Spurrier more than anything.

Tailgating in Columbia SC has become 10x better than in Athens... which is a sign of future success imo

The area around their stadium is a shithole. It really made me appreciate how Athens has downtown, campus, and tailgating right there together.

And on the SECRant, any thread that involves UGA, no matter the topic... those frickers have to chip in something completely Off-topic & stupid about 35-7 etc...

Tailgating on loading docks in the warehouse district is very underrated

edit: no, I'm serious

I never really thought of them as a rival. Like others have said, I guess the Florida, Tenn, and Auburn games have always been more important. Even with their recent success against us, it still seems like a game we should win every season without much of an afterthought.

Being in Aiken I do. They're at the bottom of the list but a rival nonetheless.

They have only 17 wins against us in 59 games. That humongous inferiority complex they have with us is fed on by Spurrier.
I hate him, not them. Without SOS, they are a mosquito bite on the ankle. Scratch it, dab it with peroxide, and it fades away.
