Nah, I hope JHC does well. He didn't chose to leave and clearly has a substance abuse problem. He is specifically the type of kid we should be trying to rehabilitate. Again, I bet you never hear of any issues at UL. He will probably never get drug tested unless it's NCAA mandated. Tray and Shaq I could care less but I hope JHC balls the frick out.

I don't buy the substance abuse thing. Plenty of kids smoke but they can all quit when it comes time to apply for work. Like just about any other responsible adult.

Plus, other players smoke all the time and find a way around it. Do I wish Georgia would sell it's soul and cover shite up? Absolutely, been saying that for a while. I wish we'd cheat wildly. Do I feel bad for JHC as a victim of circumstance? frick no. That kid was an idiot and blew a fantastic chance. Do I wish he was on our roster? Damn straight. Do I wish him well outside of UGA? Nope.

I am an a-hole and I am ok with that.

That's appealing, but I kind of think of Tray like the perfect candidate to upset the team chemistry they regained when Malzahn arrived. I find it hard to believe that he'll be a positive influence while he sits out this year.

If Tray could go there as Kamara 2.0 and destroy AU from within then I am 100% ok with all of the shite we get now. That'd be probably one of the greatest things to ever happen in college football.

I hope he does end up with Auburn, that lucky streak with the dice will end sooner than later.

We beat LSU and Mettenberger last year who trounced auburn lest we forget with our old washout.

I would rather see him on the Louisville team then have that whole sorry lot, coach and all face Auburn opening day in 2015... either way that game would be funny as hell.

While I don't think it should ever be the mission of UGA, or the UGA AA, to try and stop a person (whether they're an athlete or not) from transferring to another school or take advantage of a second chance.....it would be d*mn nice if Auburn would quit playing the role the 3 am fat girl you call for a sack of Krystals and a blowie.

Every single time there and ready.

And Mett had one of the best games of his career..

Everyone saying they're glad and hopes he goes to AU is just suffering from sour grapes. Say all you want about the kid's character but he's got potential through the roof. With a competent D staff he can be an all star. I would prefer to not have to play against that. Just let him go to louisville with the other cast offs where he'll never be heard from again.

Those are the best kind. Personally I don't care if the kid winds up flipping burgers for the rest of his life or becomes an All-Pro, All-Madden, All-World player. He's just another statistic, an afterthought.

I hope Tray does go to Auburn. I hope he goes there and does well. And I hope we beat the breaks off of them every single year he is there until he gets kicked out/fails out/ or graduates.

I disagree. Tray is a talented player, but AU would have a talented player in that safety spot anyway most likely because they recruit well. He's a really good talent, but not a game-changing talent. I really don't think he makes that much of a difference. He's a safety, not a QB. His impact is more limited.

All that said, the reason I want him to go to Auburn is that he's a known quantity. He's a talented player who is also a headcase. I'd rather take my chances against him than whoever else AU recruits to put out there. As an added bonus, their program has to deal with the distraction that he will almost inevitably cause.

The bad part is it has been so built up that he is coming to Auburn that if he ends up at UL, UGA fans are going to try to run around acting like UGA beat Auburn somehow.

Let them...not like they have any other way of doing it.

They suck so bad. 6 of 8 right?

Trooper Taylor recruited him for AU until he bolted with Gus for Arkansas State.

Like I said if he goes to lupusville or auburn I get a good laugh at somebody expense opening day 2015 when those two shite-birds play each other.

Hopefully he plays as well for Auburn as he did for Georgia.

Eeeh, I find it pretty hilarious that AU does anything in its power to compete with Bama. Them getting Tray Matthews wouldn't bother me at all. Unless he does a total 180 character wise, he's going to hurt on field performance more than he will help it.

Guys, this is all about educating the kids. So he ran a check scam and got busted smoking dope and got in trouble for skipping class and went ghetto on a tenured professor... We can't let this get in the way of educating our youths. One day, Trigga is going pro in something other than sports. Auburn and the NCAAs mission is to ensure Trigga is prepared for this...

Sounds to me like he's the kind of young man that has no business playing college football. If he doesn't want to be a college student, then he needs to find another way to spend his time. I'm not sad to see him go.

Most kids around the state apply to UGA first, then use schools like AU as a fallbacks in case they don't get in. Tray got in!
