WR is temporary because we all know what we got coming in 2019

I can't be the only one who thinks Holyfield showed incredible flashes in very limited play and is quite possibly very underrated.

I've always been really good at recognizing the small things that show when someone's got "IT", but just hasn't gotten the opportunity to show it yet.

I think Holyfield is going to be a breakout player this next season. I saw something and my gut keeps reminding me that I saw it.

I don't think no one feels Holyfield is underrated. He just got in trouble and had to work his way back up. He's solid with good speed and balance. One of my favorite players heading into 2018.

I think Quay Walker is one of the 4 who rotate at OLB along with Deandre Walker, Grant and Beal.

Kid is already 6'4" 240. That is pretty close to what our outside linebackers play at. Maybe at 8-10 lbs in the summer and he's already as big as they want them.

Anderson will be the 4th OLB. Quay will be at ILB.

McBride and Laguins will see significant PT, that's my prediction anyways ..

Agreed pretty much across the board.

It's worth pointing out that Michael Barnett got a lot of PT last year and should figure into the DL rotation somewhere. I also think Ridley will at least start the season as the opposite WR starter -- but they rotate so much it doesn't really matter.

WR/TE and DL are the two positions where the 1s and 2s seem to rotate depending on the offensive or defensive scheme.

Good question. Kirby says he doesn't believe in giving a scholarship to FBs, so it's anyone's guess.

Maybe try playing a TE at FB when it is called for.

What about Holyfield at FB? Would give us a hell of an added dimension if he can handle the blocking schemes.

Or that. However, Kirby manages it, I can absolutely see not giving a scholarship to a position that is not routinely part of offensive scheme. And don't get me wrong; FB is an essential position in an I-formation but I can easily see a TE or RB filling that role depending on the situation.

Are we writing off Solomon Kindley too easily? He got beat bad in first auburn game and Cleveland was a big improvement but I think he’s still on three deep next year. Monty Rice is going to be such a stud. We could redshirt an SEC. starting o line. It is so great to be a Bulldog right now

I was curious what was going on with Netori Johnson. I just read he was battling diabetes.

Don't get me wrong, I hope he is as good as stated but I’m looking at players like Holloman and Trey Blount who are big receivers that will play ahead of him.

Landers is our biggest receiver. 6-5 195.

Blount is 6-2 185

Why do you think Blount will play ahead of Landers?

He might, just curious as to why you think that.

Blount actually did get a decent amount of PT last year, primarily in blocking situations, and we know how important that is to Kirby in terms of getting on the field.

I agree. Given the chance he will show out, imo. He has speed and poser. not sure he can make the cuts as well as Swift, but he should be very good.

I imagine Holyfield should be our new Sony to Swift's Chubb.

Not really a fit. Holyfield is more like Chubb as a runner, and Swift more like Sony... neither are identical, but that's probably a more direct comparison. Might instead see a shift in utilization percentages, but from a type of runner/play selection, more likely to have that inverted as well.
