Ringo has great plays, historical plays, but he also had some really bad plays.
The thing about Washington... I don't think he ever dropped a single pass, he never ran the wrong route, he never missed a block, he never fumbled, he never jumped offsides, he always got yards after catch, there's not one single thing about him I can look at and think maybe he lacked this or that. If he wasn't going to be the #1 or #2 TE, I can accept that. But 6 TE's taken now above him. Just his measurables alone should get him the Anthony Richardson treatment. I just don't understand it.

He had a pass defended in the NCG by a 5'8" DB. He has some developing to do. We didn't throw to him enough to be polished as a receiver (boxing out and using his body to shield defenders).
I agree that he is the perfect tight end as a specimen. And he has excellent hands.

All fair, but 6 TEs already drafted above him. That's just crazy to me.
I could accept there are one or two, maybe even three NFL ready TE's above him, though I'd disagree, I could accept it.... but six?
I can't square that.

It sounds like there are medical red flags which aren't surprising. What is surprising is how far a 1st round athlete fell with the smoke.

UF and Ut had a lot of high round picks for teams that weren’t all that good.
